I wear my SB SOX all the time - very helpful for PF
Reviews for: - Samarai Insoles: FIVE STARS - WalkHero Insoles: FIVE STARS - ValSole Insoles: FIVE STARS - SB Sox PF Relief Socks: FIVE STARS - Koprez PF Sleeve: FOUR STARS - Vibit (purchased directly instead of thru Amazon): THREE STARS - Tisscare foot massager with heat (purchased earlier somewhere else): FIVE STARS My experience with Plantar Fasciitis (PF): I’m 64, female, retired for one year, and lead an active lifestyle. My normal routine includes a 4-5 mile walk every morning, pickleball 5x per week, and golf when I can. PF symptoms showed up suddenly about two months ago – suddenly it hurt too much to walk very far and pickleball was excruciating. It affected both feet, but the pain in my right foot was significantly worse. In spite of all the products that promise fast relief, I learned that managing PF is a multi-step process. Here's what worked for me – in order of implementation: - I threw away five pairs of worn-out running shoes and started wearing my newest pair all the time. - I quit going barefoot and now wear shoes all the time, even inside the house. - I quite wearing dress shoes or sandals (easy for me since I’m retired). - I started stretching my heels/calves multiple times per day, with and without a step. - I rolled my foot over a frozen water bottle or a small hard plastic ball with spikes on it. The plastic ball seems to work better, and soon I was using it several times per day. - I bought three different pairs of PF insoles so I could use them all the time. I couldn’t really tell any difference between the three brands I tried, but I think the ones with deep heel cups (WalkHero and ValSole) are better, and those are the two I use most of the time. - I bought SB Sox and now wear them on both feet during all waking hours. - I tried the Koprez Sleeve, but found that it was uncomfortable to wear all the time. I tried wearing it on a walk, but it actually became more painful after about ¼ mile. I tried wearing it for pickleball, and it was wonderful. The Koprez Sleeve allows me to keep playing pickleball. - I tried foam rolling my calves. I think it helped, but it was really hard on my arms. So I quit. - I bought the Vibit, hoping that I could use it on my calves as well as my feet. It vibrated as advertised, but it was actually harder to use than a foam roller and it didn’t seem more effective. It felt good on my feet but I couldn’t tell if it helped or not. Following the directions requires 15 minutes per foot dedicated to using the massager (no multi-tasking is possible). I still use it occasionally if I want a few extra minutes without sitting down with the Tisscare, but I don’t think this purchase helped with the PF. I have also used the Vibit for other things (IT band, back, arms), and it offers a nice massage. - I started using a Tisscare foot massager with heat that we already owned. It seemed to help a lot, and it was easy to use as I could just sit there and let the massager do the work on both feet at the same time while I read or used my phone. I’m still using it 2-3x per day for 20 minutes. Very much worth the money and I will buy it again if it quits working. Results: - It took about four weeks to research, purchase, and start using all the products listed above. During that first four weeks, I quit my morning walks and cut back on pickleball (I could not play two days in a row). Pain was intense, especially after pickleball or at the end of the day. - Within a couple weeks, the morning pain was better, mostly because I stretched and rolled 2-3 times during the night (I wake up anyway). - After putting everything into place (about four weeks), the morning pain was pretty much gone and I started walking two miles in the morning. I still had pain if I played pickleball – and the pain continued for the rest of the day. - After six weeks, I was able to increase the morning walks to my normal 4-5 miles most days and experienced only minimal pain with pickleball. - It’s been about eight weeks, and I’m still continuing to work on it. Pain is minimal and I’m able to walk 5+ miles and play pickleball!

Trust the Reviews
I'm always cautious of a no-name branded item on Amazon with over 75% 5 star reviews. Often the reviews are fake and/or biased by free products. It appears this is just a great item. After receiving and trying the compression foot sleeves, I immediately ordered a second pair. About 5 months ago, I suffered from a bulging disc which wreaked havoc on my Sciatic nerve and ended up having a discectomy. As a result of the pinched nerve, I lost some muscle function in my foot/calf area. For instance, I'm unable to stand on my tip toes on the affected foot. This has caused all kinds of problems in my foot. Not sure if it's some type of Fasciitis but I get pain in my heel and the tendon along the outside of my foot. I also feel pain in my ankle when I walk long distances. It's been slowly getting better and better but it's a long road to recovery. I finally decided to try a compression sock. I purchased the SB SOX Compression Foot Sleeve and a full sock from another brand (TechWare Pro Ankle Brace Compression Sock). The SB SOX Compression Foot Sleeve fit great and has a good amount of compression. The other option, not so much. I even went down a size on the other option and it still had little compression. One of the reasons I wanted to try the full sock was because I had concerns of wearing the sleeve with shoes. I didn't want my toes bare. Turns out this sleeve is so thin, you barely know it's there (aside from the compression). The sleeve is thin enough that it's not uncomfortable to wear a real sock over it. After wearing the compression sleeve for a few days, it has definitely reduced the pain. Even after I take it off at the end of the day, the tendons in my foot don't feel as tight. It's great that these come as a pair too. I only wear one on my bad foot so with buying a second pair, I can get through most of the week without having to wash them. Although, they don't seem to absorb much sweat and I feel as though I could get away with wearing one sleeve for a couple of days. To sum things up, trust the reviews. These do help and make for a great compression solution for foot problems. Longevity of materials are yet to be determined but quality appears to be good.

Somewhat pricey Plantar Fasciitis pain relief
I read many reviews before buying/ receiving my 1st pair 2 weeks ago (Sept. 15, 2020). Since then I’ve bought 5 more pairs. I would love to get more, but they’re so pricey. I’ve worked retail for over 15 years. Logged many hours in high heels and used to pound the pavement (road runner vs treadmills etc.). Needless to say, I’ve had terrible plantar fasciitis and general foot pain for years. I searched on my own and got fitted for quality supportive shoes (Brooks running shoes and Dansko for daily use, and Mephisto for nicer looking options). When it was really bad, I would literally crawl on my hands and knees to get around the house. And yes. Despite my high pain tolerance, eyes would water due to the pain. This while popping 800mg+ a day of ibuprofen, icing, and little massage balls for the feet. The podiatrist I saw said I was basically SOL (s*** out of luck), and only offered the band-aid of cortisone injections. Tried the orig. Strassburg Sock, knock-off version of the Strassburg sock, smaller night splints, and giant robot leg boot splints. The giant boot splints worked the best. But for someone who runs hot, side sleeper, and lives in hot Southern California, it really isn’t ideal to wear the big bulky boot splints overnight. And the boot splints don’t help the other 16+ hours I’m awake and about. For the first time in over a decade, I can go through a day without terrible plantar fasciitis pain. Because of these socks. I love these. I wear one pair all day long, and wear a fresh pair overnight. I measured my arch (and included a photo of that). I wear women’s size 9 running shoes (but 7.5 in sandals/heels) because my feet while long, are somewhat narrow (width from side to side) and have a shallow/low profile (from top of the foot down to the sole). That’s why I appreciate that this manufacturer makes different sized socks and included arch measurements in addition to shoe sizing for size reference. I ordered these socks in a medium. They’re comfortably snug. Like the best hug. But for your foot. Cons: price. I obviously saw other sellers here on amazon selling similar socks. I tried one. BLITZU. It is uncomfortably tight at both ends of the socks, yet not supportive through the arch. And despite being so tight, still managed to move and curl at the ends when worn with sandals or sneakers. These SB SOX are way better. They also feel sturdier. I worry I will tear the other brand when trying to put on and take off. But these cost so much more. And every day, the price of these SB SOX goes up. Very disappointing. Also, I included a photo to try to show, but one of these socks is now stained. It’s hard to see in the photo, but pretty obvious in person. I realize stained coloring doesn’t impair the efficacy, but it’s not cheap and I don’t think it should be so easily stained. I’m also concerned that these might stretch out/loosen over time and lose efficacy due to that. I’m hoping that doesn’t occur (or at least not for many many months). I’d like to also add, in the last two weeks, I’ve gone from doing about 6 miles a week on the elliptical, to doing 28-32 miles a week. And despite the dramatic uptick in activity, with the help of these socks, experiencing minimal foot pain. Don’t get me wrong— they haven’t magically stopped all pain. But for the first time in a decade, I feel like I can casually decide to go to a grocery store without planning my day around it to avoid hobbling and limping through the aisles. SB Sox — please feel free to send me any free socks. ;) Please also consider offering a bulk purchase discount or bundle. 15% off 3 pairs or more isn’t helpful especially when the price has gone up every two days. (Note: I have personally purchased all of my SB SOX.)

Great for help with sciatica neuropathy/pins and needles in the top of your feet
I wanted to write this review because I do t see anyone talking about their effectiveness for sciatica and neuropathy. I had a bout of severe sciatica which was followed by a two month period of neuropathy in the top of my foot (all the way up to my big toe) where I felt pins and needles and sensitivity. These socks are very helpful for me in lessening the severity of that neuropathy. I’m a year out from the major injury and have recovered, but I still get sciatic flare ups and these socks are comfortable to wear at home or while I’m sleeping. They help to constrain the nerve signals in my feet and the whole leg is better up to my lower back. Not a magic bullet but very helpful. I also like the bright colors and I wear the sock in my Birkenstocks when I’m out and about casually like at the grocery store. I like them so much I got a second pair so I have teal and purple. Last thing! They wash easily in the washing machine and I just air dry them.

Too tight!
I ordered these after seeing them recommended in an article from Runners World. I don't run anymore but I used to, and my part-time job requires me to be on my feet for several hours. I have always had a heavy heel strike and that flaw in my mechanics is catching up with me now that I'm in my mid-40's, such that now I've developed plantar fasciitis in my left foot. It's really painful, so I've formed a multi-faceted approach to fixing it including stretching, shoe inserts, rolling out muscles and fascia higher up the kinetic chain, ice, massage, lidocaine patches, anti-inflammatory medicine, and (finally) these compression socks. I get that these are supposed to be snug, however I ordered the size I should have according to the size chart and they make my toes go numb/cold and cause pain in my little toe. Maybe my feet are too wide? I received a black pair I ordered first, and I may just cut a notch on that side of the sock to see if that helps, bc they fit well around my heel, which is where all of the pain is. At any rate, I don't want a second pair of socks that don't work like they should right out of the box so I'm returning the pink ones I ordered. I give them 3 stars bc they're cute, as compression socks go, and despite the pain and numbness in my toes, they DO seem to help alleviate some of my heel pain. I just can't trade heel pain for toe pain, ya know? If you don't have wide feet, give them a whirl.

Really work for PF
I’m on day 4 of wearing these all day. They are working! I’ve spent a lot of money on PF and these little socks are doing what i hoped the hokas, the expensive insoles, the night splint and all the stretches would do. These combined with hard cork sole birkenstocks are amazing.

Accurate size is tricky
I was afraid to order my actual shoe and ankle size so I ordered a large. It feels comfortable but I’m wondering if I should have ordered a medium to feel more compression. I may order a medium to compare.
