Got 3 years out of it.
Ran it from Monday morning to Thursday afternoon and 6 hours on Fridays. Kept running like that for 3 years without issue. Starting to have trouble starting up now. I'd say that's good enough to buy the same one again.

Lasted us 4.5 years
We installed this exhaust fan in our attic in May 2020. It made a huge difference in the comfortability of our upstairs. It seemed to push a lot of air out of the attic and kept it much cooler than before we installed it. Each year we check on it when the temps begin to rise and it has been a real workhorse for the past 4.5 years. Recently we had to go into our attic and noticed the fan wasn't running but the motor was buzzing. Luckily, it made it through the hot weather portion of the year for us. I wish it would've lasted a little longer than 4.5 years but I do feel we got our monies worth out of it. Will probably purchase this exact one again as we know it'll fit our space perfectly but still going to look around first.

Perfect Replacement for the old vent fan
The Horsepower is good, quality of the housing and switches are good, weight of the metal tells you it is sturdy. Fit is great and conforms to the measurements described in the listing. Nice deal and dependable product that moves the air through my garage.

Lasts 2 years
This is the third time I purchased this fan. I keep replacing it because the hole is already in the shed and it is easiest to keep replacing with the same unit. I am in Southern California and it can get above 100° F in the summers. First installed in 2020, exactly two years later I replaced it in 2022. Now, two years and a month later, time for number three. It is a good fan, just costs me $50 a year to replace. I will do a little research and buy a more robust product in 2026. I see other reviewers state their fan lasted longer, not sure why. I will budget more for two years from now (if it indeed lasts that long) and save climbing up the ladder in my workout shed if a "better" unit can last longer. Not too bad, works well as long as it works until the motor seizes.

Pretty decent for the price
Purchased 2 10” variable speed fans for moisture issues I’ve been having in my garage due to having a lower lot line than the surrounding houses and excessive amounts of rain. Although having done my best to abate water issues entering the garage from the exterior of my garage, ambient moisture and heavy rains still left me in need of a solution to attempt to circulate the air with my garage door closed. Hopefully the 2 fans will do what’s needed to prevent anything from rusting further.I removed the louvers since the fans were going to be mounted directly to the plywood via a wooden frame I made. They were also being mounted on an angle, parallel to the roof and exhausting through the roof vents installed by the previous homeowner. It definitely wasn’t the easiet route to take but I was limited by time and options for cutting a new hole in my siding. Once the fans were hung, wiring was a breeze aside from the grounding screw being impossible to break loose with a socket or a flathead screw driver so I used one of the screws for the access cover to ground. Both fans were then wired to a Vari-Speed speed controller that also acts as the on off switch. I’m in my garage enough that I didn’t see a need for a humidistat. So far so good. A little bit of rain and humid 50-60 degree days, dipping into the 40’s overnight. I will update with pictures once more run time is in but decent fans for a decent price.

Great vent fan and ez install
With a west facing metal garage door heated my garage to 120 degrees. Install this fan in my garage wall and temp dropped 25 degrees! Wish I had done sooner! Like the 3 speeds and thermostat control! It's very well made!

So far so good. Bought this to air out my cellar
So far so good. Bought this to air out my cellar. Built a frame to mount it, removed an existing cellar window and put this in it's place and so far it is working like a champ. I bought Cable Matters (2-Pack) Heavy Duty AC Power Extension Cord in 15 Feet (NEMA 5-15P to NEMA 5-15R) and cut the receptor end off to wire it to the fan. I also got Century 24 Hour Plug-in Mechanical Timer Grounded so I could program the fan to run for a bit then shut down for a bit. Everything is working great and it has helped the smell in the cellar tremendously. My cellar and crawlspace is approx. 500-600 square feet I'd guess, unfinished. The only thing about the fan is the louver blades will not completely close when it shuts off. I've loosened the screws just a smidge and I also put some lubricant on all the moving parts but it still won't completely close. Not a big deal as of now because I have it programmed to run 45 off 15 24/7. And the natural vacuum you get when opening an exterior door pulls it closed if the fan is off at that particular time. The construction of the fan seems to be solid as well, it's all galvanized so it should hold up to any weather it'll encounter.

Not lifetime lubricated
I really liked this fan and it worked great right up until it didn't. The other day I heard a squealing noise coming from the shed. When I went to see what it was I found the fan was making a terrible noise like the bearings were running dry. I went to get some spray lubricant from the shop, but when I got back the fan was locked up and would no longer spin. It went from no issues to not working in a matter of minutes.
