Faux Fur Throw Blanket Cozy Blue XL 60x80

I bought this blanket over 5 years ago and it is still my absolute favorite blanket. Has not lost any softness at all and still looks like the day I bought it. Great size, warm, cozy, and sooo soft! Very easy to wash, and I just leave it out to dry. I’ve taken it with me to the hospital to have two of my babies and it is still has a special place in my heart. Can’t recommend it enough!

When I tell you this is the exact type of blanket I have been wanting for years now, I truly do mean that. I’ve been looking high and low for the “perfect” snuggly blanket, and this absolutely takes the cake. My last blanket had this minky, soft faux fur on one side, and plush sherpa on the other. I originally loved wrapping myself in the sherpa side, but that quickly changed as it began suffering from friction, the occasional wash cycle, etc. etc. It just wasn’t soft anymore- honestly, it was becoming more itchy than anything else. So I began using the minky side inside. And it eventually dawned on me that I just needed a blanket that had that same material all the way around. In comes this absolute dream of a blanket. For starters, I got it half off. It was still $50, but even then, it is absolutely worth the price. I got the extra large marbled gray and it is arguably the best blanket I’ve ever owned. First major plus- this blanket maintains its shape very well. You guys ever get those awkward bunches in your blankets or comforters that just won’t go away regardless of how many times you punch or try to smooth them out? Yeah, never gonna have that issue with this blanket. I did have to wash it when it first came in since it smelled very lightly of chemicals, but once that was taken care of and it fully dried, it was genuinely perfect. I used the delicate cold wash setting on my washer, NO fabric softener (just detergent), and then put into my dryer on low settings with plenty of dryer balls. It’s not recommend you throw it in the dryer like that, but it worked out perfectly fine for me- I do firmly believe the dryer balls made all the difference. And again, LOW heat settings- preferably no heat if possible. Obviously, if you have the time to hang it up to dry, then absolutely do that. But if not, be very careful about throwing these types of blankets in the dryer. You can melt the tips of the fibers if too much heat is used, causing them to harden. In regards to softness, this is a very cozy blanket. The fur is very soft, cool, and silky to the touch, especially after being washed and dried. The blanket has some decent weight to it, but it’s not the type of heaviness in blankets that leaves you sweating and uncomfortable after 5 minutes whatsoever. I’d probably put it closer to a breathable medium weight blanket as opposed to a light weight. It’s keeps me plenty warm and happy without cooking me like a little dumpling. And the final major plus here? This blanket does NOT shed. I have no idea why or how some other reviewers have had this issue, because the fur on this blanket is very sturdy in that sense for me. There really wasn’t even any stray furs that got caught in the dryer’s lint trap- it was extremely minimal. Overall, I’m beyond thrilled with this blanket, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Do not place all your trust in the handful of negative reviews; this is definitely a worthy purchase.

Grew up in Cleveland, OH then moved to Chicago,IL to attend college. Been told hundreds of times I should be used to the cold, well I haven’t. I am 72 years old and sleep in socks and flannel pj’s. In a matter of a week I will undergo knee replacement and I will need warmth to curl up with while recuperating. Went exploring to find covering to bring comfort and warmth. I ran across this throw and the views were soooo inviting. I ordered this throw. I haven’t even washed it yet and gave it a test drive as I write and tell you THIS covering is quite warm!! In Chicago’s weather you could practically sleep outdoors with this. Ohhhhhh yes Christmas is 8 months away, and I don’t have to look or wonder what the grands will be getting. An excellent, excellent gift for them and their parents. I love this throw and I wish it came in more colors. ****Update 5/4/21. I am throughly enjoying my throw. This is one of the best investment I have ever made! OMGOOOOONESS I am completely thrilled. I purchased the largest that was being offered and very happy with my purchase. You will never regret buying it and will bring you joy, warmth and comfort. I have not been compensated to write this. I only want others to enjoy what I have for over a week. Try it and see for yourself there will be no regrets. ❤️ I thought I had submitted my review, I am glad because I have enjoyed this blanket sooooo much I had to order one for our granddaughter who lives in NY and expecting a baby late September. We know it gets cold there and what better way to single up and be comfy cozy than with this blanket. With the air conditioning going the room can become a bit chilly and even though it is July the air conditioning can make it chilly. She’ll love this blanket because it is so soft, light weight BUT can keep you warm. The perfect gift for anyone who likes a little extra warmth when the seasons change. I wash everything I purchase BUT I haven’t washed this one and haven’t any problems in shedding etc. The only problem I see is the light color showing dirt…but I don’t think it will because I handle it with care. I order the large size and it almost covers our king. Keep in mind these will make anyone happy to receive this as a gift. Once you try it, you’ll be glad you did. Winter is not that far all. Already July is half over and the chilly months are coming. Try it you will definitely love it. 👍🏿

I have now purchased two of these blankets. The first one was a gift for my husband. I was looking for a blanket he could use while we watch movies during the winter months. I specifically wanted a blanket that was large enough to comfortably reach past his toes, and had plenty of width to snuggle up in. I also wanted a blanket that had a soft, pleasant feel, and was, of course, warm and cozy. This blanket checked all my boxes. My husband loves it, and uses it all the time. My son has been jealous of his dad's blanket, so this Christmas, I ordered another one to gift him. He was ecstatic when he opened it, and has been using it nonstop over the holiday vacation. I highly recommend this blanket. It is of good quality, having stood up to over 3 years of almost daily use by my husband, with multiple washings to keep it clean. It has not torn or worn out anywhere. The blanket also has a bit of weight to it--not so heavy like a weighted blanket--but it has a comforting bit of gentle pressure that adds to its coziness.

Do yourself a favor and grab this blanket! My absolute favorite blanket. Softness is off the charts, and stays soft and cozy after multiple washes. It feels like it has a little weight to it, nothing crazy just the perfect heaviness. I take it with me on all my flights. I actually had to replace my first one because I left it at my son’s tournament. So yes I would buy it again! Beautiful for a gift as well.

Exactly as shown and described. So soft and warm. I love that it's a little weighted, makes it even comfier. UPDATE: I’m a little disappointed. I was in love with my blanket. My husband purchased the large size for me when I had our son. After an improper wash from my husband, my lovely blanket turned rough and uncomfortable. I recently had our third child. I wanted my blanket back, so I ordered this blanket again, in extra large. I am a little disappointed in my new blanket. It’s soft and warm, but nothing like the quality and weight of my first. My son, now nearly two, claimed it as his own (he has an infatuation with soft things) and wouldn’t even let me take it out of the box before he snagged it. All in all, it’s a great blanket, but I feel like the extra large is lacking the luxury of the large.

This is a dreamily soft blanket! I got it in the mottled grey and it is beautiful. I like the color variation, it adds a little dimension to it. It was noticeably heavy right out of the box. But I have owned a “weighted blanket” before and it is not as heavy as one of those. However I would say this is a better option for folks who find weighted blankets too heavy and cumbersome to use, but still want weighted comfort. I actually got this for my son who has sensory needs and he absolutely loves this blanket. He loves the softness and the weight. It doesn’t have any “stuffing” inside it, so it lays flat easily and won’t bunch up in the wash and get ruined over time. I haven’t washed it yet, but I think I will need to wash separately so the washing machine drum doesn’t get off balance, since this is super weighty. The only thing that isn’t great about this blanket is that it is difficult to fold neatly. Because of its softness, it is slippery to fold, and because of the weight, gravity isn’t your friend when folding. It is not easy to fold into a neat square/rectangle for storage, and even if accomplished it won’t stay folded. It is better draped over a bed or couch… but also, it’s big, so you will need to figure out if that will work for you. I borrowed it to see if I wanted one on my bed, however for me, it was too weighty to sleep with. I found the weight to be a bit bothersome and constricting for sleep. However I do love snuggling up under it on the couch on a cool evening. Great price, gorgeous, soft and useful blanket. If it folded neatly it would be perfect!

After literally searching for "the softest, most comfortable blanket" on the internet, pouring intently into dozens of options, styles, materials, and brands (because that's the thorough indecisive nerd I am), I took a chance on this one. And I mean the VERY moment I opened it up and felt it...I knew I made the perfect choice, with absolutely no second thought. I'm 6'4" and had concerns of whether or not the blanket would be big enough to clothe me in smooth softness, without having my cold feet peek out from the edge. As well as concerns that it would be stitched well enough to not have little strings hanging along the seams. Sure enough, I stood up tall, held the blanket stretched out and it was nearly as tall as I was. I also looked for loose fibers/strings, and the more I looked, the more I realized I couldn't find any flaws. Then I got distracted by its plushy persuasion and fell victim to its chinchilla fur charm. Concerns eliminated. The softness of the material is so finely intricate, that it makes blankets/throws with normal plush, plain polyester, and woven wool look and feel like "old news." You would think you were accidentally sent a real authentic mink fur blanket, crafted and handwoven from the hidden chambers of the world's most legendary fur coat makers. Skepticism gone. The surprisingly excellent part of this blanket is that it's stitched on BOTH sides, so you feel the light tickle of silky soft rabbit hair (or any animal that has heavenly fur you'd be jealous of) brush against your skin. Pure comfort bliss accomplished. Think I'm being excessive and dramatic? Wrong my friends. I've spent hours and hours of reading, which turned into days of adamantly hunting, which turned into weeks of aggressively searching for "that" blanket that would eliminate the need to do a double take when you walk by a soft blanket. If this blanket were that "OMG how is that even possible" bargain comparison, it would be equivalent to you walking into Walmart looking for a bargain for some cheap sparkling wine...then you see one bottle left of 1959 Dom Perignon Vintage Rosé (est. $42,000)...for $50...ummm....YES PLEASE. This is that blanket. Have doubts like I did? Have concerns like I did? Have curiosity like I did? Let me save you the stress, get this blanket and start becoming a better person in life. Forewarning, this blanket might cause you to become possessive, protective, and justifiably selfish...as you will not want to reveal it to others, nor share it. However, if you have a girlfriend like I do (or boyfriend), this blanket is big enough to generously share the soft, cloud-like, luscious love...which encapsulates this blanket. Life changing miracle purchase achieved. You're welcome.

Thin, short pile, if you’re expecting a faux animal long hair throw you will be very disappointed. It’s soft and warm but not what he had hoped for.

Wow! This faux fur throw has everything I wanted: the quality, the softness, the color, the perfect weight. I have received great service from the seller. Thank you so much, this is the best purchase so far! I recommend it, it makes a great gift!

The blanket is very very soft! And just gorgeous. The pictures do not do it justice. The seller is just amazing and the customer service is outstanding. It would make a beautiful gift for anyone.

My son is happy with this blanket. Warm, soft and right length.
