Description
TENARA CLEAR THREAD IS GUARANTEED FOR LIFE! This is an 8 oz. spool of Tenara Sewing Thread. Approx. 1900 yds. DISCLAIMER: Returns on Tenara thread are acceptable if the original seal from factory hasn't been removed and the original plastic is still vacuum sealed.

Expensive But Worth It
I've completed two projects (hot tub cover and mainsail cover) using this thread and Sunbrella fabric. It worked flawlessly on the commercial grade machine (Consew) and I couldn't get it to work on the heavy duty home model (Sailrite). I tried changing needle sizes, tension and speed, nothing seemed to work so I used the big machine. I really like the clear thread - doesn't blend in as much as the exact color match but it's close for everything else and means I don't have to stock a lot of different colors. Time will tell if the thread is as durable as advertised but I'm betting that it is. I use a hot knife to cut the fabric and it won't cut the Tenara thread unless I hold it there long enough to burn the fabric

A must for high UV environment.
Expensive but great thread for high UV conditions. Sews very well. No flaking. Easy to work with.
