For my Jugaad TV
I'm using an old LCD monitor with tata play dth. It works as HDMI to VGA convertor. It also has 3.5 mm sound output which comes handy to attach a speaker. My jugaad tv.

No display on my second monitor. - New Update
1st Review: Screen seems to be connected but no display on my second monitor. (Monitor works perfectly well with other connections)Update: Needed to fix display drivers, thanks to this adapter, 2 display drivers got installed, both running the display on 1 hardware (my second screen) resulting in black screen with a lot of fluctuation. I disabled one of the two drivers and now it works fine. (I guess, you never know about these things).Note: I am using a fairly old Dell D1920 LCD Monitor as my secondary, it might work perfectly for you if you're using a modern screen. Main: Dell Inspiron 15.

Doesn't work
Product does not work. Missed the return deadline so stuck with it.Have tried this on multiple monitors and can't seem to get it to work. The OS will detect that the cable/adapter has been plugged in but no image is displayed. This is the same whether you try this product from HDMI port on PC to VGA port on monitor or VGA port on PC to HDMI port on monitor.Someone had posted a review on how to get this to work after facing this same problem. Unfortunately that solution didn't work for me.Will have to junk this and order a different one.

Showing "out of range"
I lowered the display setting on my laptop to regular HD to get my 1918wm Viewsonic to show up, but the same "out of range" is showing on the display. It means the the adaptor is "connecting". But what use is a connection if the display does not work!
