"PRE DRILL"
Good quality and quantity for the $I don't know that you will get these in wood without pre drilling. I'm pretty positive not so I didn't even bother to try.- I drilled my hole to depth and then ran in a screw of same diameter and thread pitch. Then installed these hooks which I still needed leverage to twist in because of the shape of this hook you have little to grab onto.

Easy and Simple
Used this as a way to prop baskets up but it would be great to easily hang things on the wall or in the kitchen. Sturdy and useful.

Diverse uses, great quality
I can imagine many projects using these hooks. We made a modernized peg rail that I can easily hang some smaller sized items from. I wouldn't hang heavy items but they were perfect for our light use. Easy to install after predrilling holes.
