The build quality is exceptional. I am always impressed with Wens quality. The MT2 Morse taper is machined perfectly and seats snugly into my lathe tailstock socket with zero play, wobble, or runout. The chuck itself is heavy, robust, and operates incredibly smoothly across its entire capacity range. The jaws align perfectly, holding small center drills all the way up to large 5/8-inch silver and deming bits with an absolute vice like grip. The included chuck key fits tightly into the gear teeth, allowing you to torque down on the bits easily so they do not slip when drilling into dense hardwoods or solid steel rods. It has completely transformed my workflow for prepping metal stock for precision threading. It handles heavy drilling pressure effortlessly without backing out of the taper or jamming. A nicely machined 5/8" keyed MT2 chuck, very robust and good quality, with key and JT6 taper adapter at a good competitive price - I recommend this drill or small lathe chuck.
