Lovely terrarium pot, great size. Not watertight but I applied clear silicone to the bottom before planting up. Worth the money. Arrived very well packed and undamaged.

Absolutely adorable terrarium, they were right about the gaps but I bought sealant along with this to make a bioactive. Got clay pebbles in the plastic tray provided inside the terrarium after sealing the bottom, got some bugs in there! Currently, I set up my new pair of black hissers while I wait for their actual enclosure to arrive! The latch was a bit off, I was worried about that after seeing another review but I figured it out quickly that I have to pull the door lifted up as far as the hinge will let me (sounds a bit complicated but it really isn’t anything bothersome). It works like a charm, I’ll probably get more plants into it and it seems great for a jumping spider!!

It's not cheap, but it's worth the price. I put clear silicone along the bottom seems and up to the first section to make it more waterproof, and used the silicone to seal the included plastic try to the bottom as well. This makes the bottom section capable of holding standing water even though it is for succulents and is watered sparingly. I was concerned it might not arrive intact considering the glass metal mix, etc. but it was packaged REALLY well. It was kind of a pain getting it unboxed and opened up. But, I'd rather spend more time getting something in one piece than having to return something that didn't make it. I like the size and shape, and the metal looks really classy. I will probably get at least one more at some point.

I cannot stress this enough; Look at the description of the product before purchasing. I knew that this wasn't water proof when I purchased it, but it also appears that that can be fixed. This terrarium is even more beautiful in person, and even though I knew the dimensions it is still larger than I anticipated. Thankfully, the lights are tall enough, but I'm not sure what I originally thought. This terrarium was for a ping (butterwort) that I've struggled to keep alive. My poor ping has gone through a crap load of randomness that was bent on killing my poor ping. Don't let anyone tell you that a bug will not eat your ping. If there is a plant or an animal alive, something WILL eat it. Check your species of ping and what it will be great in. I originally wanted two or three different plants in here, but now I'm not sure that I even want that. This was exactly what I wanted and needed for my plant. I cannot get over how beautiful and unique this is, and while I wanted something with a dome too, I'm incredibly happy that I chose this flat top instead. The dome top would have been way too tall and wouldn't have let the adequate amount of light in.

I'm using this as a plant terrarium, and it's perfect! It arrived in perfect condition and looks lovely. Overall it is pretty sturdy, but the little hinges on the door are poor and eventually broke. To be fair since the plants require regular misting, I used the door a lot more than most people probably will. But they are weak and if you're opening it often, eventually they could break. I fixed it shabbily with some putty, and it functions fine and still looks nice.
