This product review is for people like us who need to remotely manage airbnb/rental properties and have tried many digital lock boxes before.Lubn smart key box is definitely an intricate device that changes the game of property management. The thoughtful features exceeded my expectations as the following:1. Embedded LTE; some of our properties are deep in the woods but the LTE signal was surprisingly stable and strong. I took a video during a rainy day and the operation was easy as pie.2. QR code generated on demand; Check-in properties were just like boarding an airplane. No more PIN number sending or sharing!Super easy setting up; NO guests need to download an app or create an account except the host. You don’t need to be near the key box again to load the visit logs either. (This is a pain in the butt if you know what I’m talking about)Lubn key lock box definitely puts a stop of the endless searching and repurchasing.

So far, so good - I must say, I am thoroughly delighted with this purchase. I got this lockbox for my business, mainly to stash keys for cleaners, after-hours pickups, and drop-offs.It's been performing great, feeling quite robust, reliable, and, most importantly, I'm impressed with the remote access feature. I can grant access from wherever I am, no need to bother with access codes. This works great for me, and I can't recommend it enough.

Purchased this unit to control access in a show room. It works fairly well however the app has a lot of bugs and issues. I couldn’t upload my contacts and kept getting an error message. I sent a couple of messages to tech-support with no response so as long as you’re happy with it out of the box, then it’s OK. Don’t expect any after sales support.UPDATE after a month of use. The Lubn team finally reached out to me and after a few emails, they corrected the contact upload that worked for a while. Now they seem to have disappeared so I do not know if that functionality was disabled in the app.Unfortunately the lockbox is very particular in how you re insert the key box and users are having issues. There is a lot of latency between each step and sometimes users cannot figure out how to use it due to the delays between each step. We are constantly having to train in how to use a lockbox. As much as we wanted this to product to work we just have 3-4 unique users a week and it’s too involved. Also we are now receiving an error every 30min from the lock box and had to disable notifications on the app. Also tried to move the box and the shackle now won’t release after several attempts.We loved the concept of this product and we were excited but we are disappointed in the product and will have to look for another solution.

The whole family returned to our home country for the entire summer, so we had to ask different friends with varying availabilities to take care of our two cats. Instead of hiding the key in the yard, we decided to give Lubn Box a try.It turned out to be simple and easy to use for both me and my friends. The setup was straightforward, and the app is user-friendly. The key can be easily retrieved and returned to the box.The ability to grant access remotely has significantly streamlined the process. The camera feature provided clear photos of which friend was accessing the property.Overall, the Lubn Box has made me feel comfortable leaving the pets at home and in control of having friends take care of them. It’s a well-designed product that has made taking care of my pets remotely much easier.

UPDATE:I am updating my original review as Lubn customer service has been much more prompt and responsive in recent weeks. The issue with not receiving a notification when visitors check in has been resolved. I now get an instant notification when visitors check in. The issue with not seeing the drivers license has been partially resolved. I can now see a photo of the drivers license if I login on their website. The drivers license still does not appear on the mobile app. It would be convenient if it worked on the mobile app as that is what I can access and use the quickest. On the plus side, Ryan from customer service has been very prompt in keeping me updated on the issues I've had and has said they are working to improve the IT issues. Overall, I like these lockboxes. They save me a lot of time in having to go and show properties and my clients appreciate the ability to have immediate access to my model homes.ORIGINAL REVIEW:This lockbox is a great concept if it would always work like it is supposed to. There have been several IT and engineering issues over the past year or so that I have used this. I am a real estate agent and I use these lockboxes on listings to allow visitors to view my properties anytime. My first issue is that the lockbox is very slow. The wait times can feel quite extensive between pressing the check in button, scanning the QR code and finally releasing the key. Many visitors can't get it to work and I think its because of the delayed times, they just can't figure it out. On the IT side, I used to be able to see a copy of the visitor's driver's license after they booked an appointment. That feature just disappeared and I can only see a small thumbnail of the driver's license now, which does not help me. Thankfully nothing has happened to my properties but if it did, I would want to be able to see the visitor's driver's license to know who was in the property. I emailed support and was only told that it should work, but it doesn't. All I can access is a thumbnail. A MAJOR issue that is happening right now is the lockbox is supposed to send me an instant notification and email when it is used by a visitor. I like to check in right away if I am nearby. I realized about two weeks ago that people had been coming through my properties and I was not getting any push notifications or emails. I emailed support and was they told me they are aware and engineering has been working on it. This is an urgent issue to me but it does not appear to be urgent to them.
