Love it
I've been really happy with Orchard Potting Mix. It has a nice texture, drains well, and retains enough moisture to keep my plants healthy without becoming soggy. I've used it for a variety of potted plants, and they've all done great in it. The mix is easy to work with, and I appreciate that it doesn't seem packed with large sticks or debris like some other brands I've tried. Overall, it's a quality potting mix that I trust and will continue to buy for my gardening projects.

Good purchase
This is a pretty good sized bark & bag. I own lots of orchids so Iโm very pleased with the quality and size. Nice fresh bark pieces and didnโt smell moldy or anything. This is like my 4 th purchase already and the consistency is always the same.

Perfect for homemade chunky mix
Great to mix with soil and perlite to get a good, chunky mix for indoor plants. The orchid bark creates extra drainage which is perfect for plants like hoyas, alocasia and string-ofs.

Budget friendly, good for mixing with other stuff or used alone.
I love this mix, I use it for orchids and as a mix-in with other stuff for bonsai, pilea, and succulents. I've repurchased multiple bags by now and had it get mushroomy(?) while as a decorative top layer in a pot Once though. It was kinda cute, but I killed that by spraying isopropyl on it (it was fine to water again after drying completely) and it never came back or occured again. The wood is probably just natural. The wood chips can get a little big sometimes (over 2in, never more than 5in though) but I save those for specific things.

Spend the money and get the proper mix
Life saver. When you get orchids from a grocery store, they're usually in a too small pot and bad mix. This is the mix you need. My orchids are thriving in this.

Perfect mix
I needed to use this for the many plants I have propagated in my place. This is such a good price online compare to in store and also include a mix of orchid bark, perlite and charcoal! So far itโs been helping with my bird of paradise, snake plants and monsteras. Highly recommend.

Chunky and light
Super fast delivery. No bugs yet still moist. Much better than anything else I can find near me.. Nice large chunks of bark, charcoal and coarse perlite. The fir bark however doesn't look like the images that much, they're in longer splinters but I just cut those ones in half. May want to sift before using just to get some of the dust off, other than that it seems great so far.

This bag contains almost entirely of large chunks of bark
The bag contained almost solely of bark with odd bits of perlite, so it's a bit of a stretch to call this a potting mix. The bark pieces were typically several cm large, not really suitable for orchids, at least not common house orchids like the Phalaenopsis.
