Excellent screwdriver.
I have bought many of these heavy duty screwdrivers. I use them for a wide variety of applications. Very solid. The handle is hard plastic. Arrest is solid steel. I'm very happy with this product.

Tough and durable like my father's craftsman hand tools were.
I grabbed this particular screwdriver to make a specialized spud wrench from it for a gunsmithing project (Model 8 charging handles can be a real pain to disassemble when they're rusted together). I figured if any brand would hold up to being chopped up and still have the durability needed to get the job done, it would be Craftsman. I know that there have been some questions in recent years, with production shifting offshore, as to the quality and durability of Craftsman tools, but it seems like the more basic hand tools like this are still made well. I have since been able to use this screwdriver for a multitude of projects requiring the two-prong spud wrench I made of it, and I expect it to last for years to come.

It was way too big. So it didnt work at all. But 5 stars because amazon gave me a refund without having to go through the hassle of returning the product.

Excellent tool that accepts crescent wrench on shaft to allow for extra torque. Strong head.

10/10 would flathead again
I work in a fan factory this thing is a little big for when it comes to actual flat head screws but everything else you could ever dream of a flat head doing it does brilliantly. This thing is basically an all in one pry-bar. the fans I make go on top of buildings and this puppy has no problem wedging under a frame, lining up a key hole, self defense, adjusting a prop, whacking a bent frame straight, and all the things. If you had to fight off an unlimited number of 4th graders with only this you’d last awhile it’s a big ol thick piece of metal that’ll last you long. The handle is ok 10/10 would buy again

Good quality screwdriver, great for prying. Takes a beating too!
The Craftsman 8" flathead screwdriver is AWESOME. If you work on cars, and motorcycles, you need a big and beefy flathead for prying things. This tool is up always at the top of my tool cart AND there's a lifetime warranty!
