Hot plate stopped heating up after 3 uses. So now it’s useless.

The media could not be loaded.  I got two different styles this one the square and the other hexagonal one. Same size, same brand, same seller but with a $6 price difference, the square being cheaper. This one came defective the switch doesn’t work, as soon as you hook it up to the wall the light comes on and it starts heating up. It doesn’t matter if the switch is in the ON or OFF position. It can still be used, I want to return it but it is a hassle right now during the holidays, so I will keep on using it like that until it stops working or it catches on fire. It heats up fast, it will work with bakhoor tablets, wood chips even resins. Use foil paper to create a lining over the hot plate for easy clean up, you don’t want that burnt oil residue on your hot plate it will start to smell, ruining your bakhoor experience. There is no temperature regulator, heat is regulated by the hot plate resistance so it has a limit how hot it gets but it can’t be regulated. It gets hot so if you want a slower burn get creative use 2-3 pieces of thick foil to make your lining thicker, or use the little oil bowl provided and use more foil over it. You will slow down the burn time but not by much. I would not trust leaving this burner unattended. Caution::: The top half gets very hot, keep away from children, pets and blind people. Overall it’s a cheap alternative to the more expensive ceramic regulated burners. I use charcoal mabkharas also I prefer those and use rice ash to regulate the heat, sometimes I use thick foil paper cups I make. I don’t use self lighting charcoal rounds, I use the bamboo squares that are a bit harder to light. That is why the electric is convenient when you don’t feel like messing with charcoal. I would have given it 4 stars if it wasn’t for the defective switch.

I ordered this product in September and it is December and it's already gone out don't waste your money not working anymore stop working today

It get hot really quick and burn Bakhoor. Died within few months. All negative comments are valid for this product.

SCAM ALERT! This piece of junk does not work. I am jealous of the folks who say that it stopped working for them after a week/two weeks/a month etc. For me, it did not work even once. Looks like the manufacturer has given up completely. Just my opinion, but they know that their junk stops working after a few days anyway, so they said: "Why bother? Just send out defective duds with a wire sticking out of it."

Worked very well for about a month and then stopped working!!! when it first came i had no issues i loved the design and the price i was paying for it until it stopped working lol. but i got a refund even though it was way past refund/return window so thankful for that

my former burner was much bigger in size than this but, this works well too.

This product is garbage Don’t buy. Stoped working after 5-7 day use. Not...worth it
