How does this do fro filling cracks on wood decks? Does it stand up to elements, and snow vs summer heat? Thanks.

This is a grain sealer for fine finishing work it is not a crack filler.

Would this be a good option for an oak table that will be kept outdoors?

This is a good product for sealing and filling the grain of deep grained woods like oak. It is not a finish resin though. Our Polyester GLOSS resin is a great finish resin

Yup, and if you want to save time it's worth every penny. I use it (Solarez, not the grain filler) for finishing guitars, which I make one at a time. If I was to use nitro lacquer I'd have to wait literally weeks between finishing steps. I can complete a guitar finish in a day or two with Solarez.

Can you topcoat with urethane?

If you are using it as a grain filler then, yes. I've done that many a time with no problem on open grain woods like Mahogany, then coated with urethane.
