My cat LOVES this
We were struggling to find a toy that our new cat liked. She would often get bored of feathery toys. Eventually we discovered she goes crazy for furry/fluffy toys! She will carry this toy around, toss it around and jump at it, etc. This is the one toy where she will play by herself without us needing to be involved. It works great attached on the end of a string/wand, too. She'll jump and run after it!Eventually these do get pretty beat up if your cat plays with them a lot. Bits of fur might come off, or the red cap might detach. I recommend getting several of these toys and rotating them out. They'll last longer and your cat will be excited to get a "new" fluffy toy.

A clear winner, according to the cats
Our cats love all the wand attachments from GoCat, ranging from Da Bird to Da Bee. This furry attachment has the (dubious?) distinction of being one of the most favored, but also one of the first to be "killed" (i.e. torn apart). The little rubber bit at the top will pull off after a while, but, unlike some of the other toys, this one is still fine for them to play with even after it can no longer be on the wand... and boy, do they play with it! Our girls like to throw it in the air and carry it all over the house under their own steam once their human slaves are no longer useful. Sure, these are a little expensive, but it's absolutely worth it. Please note you may get either white or brown fur, so don't be surprised about it. I notice no difference in quality between the two colors.

Cats Love It
My cats love this thing and go nuts for it. It's just a strip of rabbit fur that you can attach to a swivel on a cat wand, but the cats go nuts for it every single time I bring it out. It's pretty durable, too. I've had it for several months, and while my cats are rough with this toy, it still looks new.

For my cat, best toy ever
First cat after having a dog for a couple decades. Ever seen a cat fetch? Well mine will for this toy. He'll tear off like a dog, grab it maybe flip it around like a cat will do and then haul it back like a dead rat and drop it at my feet and just like a dog. Look up at me, throw it again dude. On the GoCat pole I have to be careful because he'll chase and jump full on straight into a wall. Worn out every day. Panting tired. The only reason I'll need to replace it because he will sit and chew on the leather. If I get around to it I'll take a picture. Amazing toy though. He much prefers it to the feathers.

Okay, I Take Back My Old Review
BEFORE: We were hoping this would be at least half the size of the Da Bird, and be very fluffy. Our cats love the Da Bird products--the rod with the helicoptering feathers is their favorite and they pout when it isn't brought out for playtime. In contrast, this fur attachment was paltry. Though the fur feels more luxurious, it is thinner than hoped. With three adult Main Coon Cats, this will not last long.AFTER:After a week of hard play with three massive Main Coon cats, this toy has been a major hit. Their long time favorite (Da Bird with helicoptering feathers) is now 2nd place. My family and I were at the pet store, and the younger juvenile mice are the exact same size as this toy, probably smaller. The fur on this is more like rabbit fur, so it has more fluff. The only objection is now that such massive killer jaws immediately pulled the "rabbit/mouse" out of its red holder. They're not very good at sharing or "letting go." Luckily, the cord that goes throughout the body of the mouse and up into the red holder is a very thick durable suede-type strap/cord. The thing goes right back in all the way up to the top. Sometime I'll take some non-toxic glue and secure it, but the one time per day when it pops out again is a "you win" moment for the cats. They don't gulp it down, of course, and easily give it up to me. Then it easily swivels and holds back in place again. The more timid ones are attracted to it (as they're not birders...most Maine Coons are mousers instead), and our 22 pounder is now less interested in his bird. They nearly crush each other, fearless, going after this at the same time. We have to shake it and let it rest so the spit dries!Overall, please NEVER stop making this...just make it just a tiny 1/4 in to 1/2 in longer...and make the suede cord more secure for a negligible longer life.A plus toy for us! The softness around their mouths is a huge treat. They nuzzle it a lot when they "win" the mouse away.

Great training toy.
I used Da bird to train my 6 pussycats to sleep when we sleep. You exhaust them! After just 3 weeks every night from 8:00pm to 8:30pm out came Da bird. It’s the only toy that all 6 cats will actually play together without any fighting or hissing. Everyone of them gets to run and chase and leap into the air after Da bird. After just a couple of days you will see the older cats just watching the younger cats chase after Da bird. It’s not just lots of fun for the cats but also for you as you are moving around the room swinging Da bird in front of each cat making you just as tired. I can’t take any credit for buying and using Da bird as I learned it all from Jackson Galaxy. Always have fresh water bowls available before play time, I keep 2 big dog water bowls in my 2 bathrooms, one down stairs and one upstairs but in the kitchen I keep a huge plastic shoe box size water box in the sink that is constantly topped off daily. I also keep 2 large doggie bowls of kibble for any during the night eaters.

Fun and durable
my cats love this one! I like that it isn't easy for them to destroy and is made of natural materials.

sheds less and very soft
My cat loves Go Cat toys, this one in particular can attack to the stick and sheds way less than other attachements which is nice, although my cat prefers the ones that shed like da bee or da fish. The weight might be a little too heavy, if it was a little smaller it might be easier to play with and my cat does get scared by its size sometimes.
