Indigo Ridge: (The Edens #1)

I am obsessed with this book and this series!!! I can’t believe it took me so long to read and I had been putting of reading it, why I don’t know. This book had everything I loved in it, an enticing plot and a bloody good romance. I loved how this book feature an independent, strong and powerful female main character and she was just an overall amazing character. Also, Griffin being the grumpy guy that falls so hard for Winslow has me loving him even more. I absolutely love when the guy falls first in books and this was done perfectly. The chemistry between Griffin and Winslow was amazing and the murder mystery plot that was happening had me not putting this book down and I read it in more or less one sitting it was just fantastic and there isn’t much else to say other than READ IT !!!

I had seen mixed reviews on this series and thought I'd go in blind and give it a chance. I'm glad I did, I enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to reading the next book!

In typical Hannah fashion, I didn’t even read the synopsis for this; I had no idea what it was about except that it was based in a small town and there was a sexy, grumpy cowboy mentioned. So when the dead body showed up, I was shook.I enjoyed this book a lot. Winn is the new chief of police and having to investigate the death, despite advice from many in the small town that she should just leave it alone. I like that she fought for it, even though it didn’t make settling into her new home easier. It had me on the edge of my seat at some points, and I definitely didn’t see the ending coming. I wasn’t sure if I was more invested in the who did it or Griffin (I think it was both).I loved the way Winn and Griffs relationship built up from strangers to friends with benefits to so much more. And the fact that they didn’t let their different views compromise their relationship or vice versa. We love a man who communicates 😌 honestly, Griffin had me swooning on multiple occasions 😮‍💨It was a great balance of interesting plot, lovable characters and great world building - mentioning the rest of the Eden family and setting them up for their books

THIS BEAUTIFUL FREAKING BOOK! I did not expect to become to obsessed with this story and I devoured it in about 24 hours. I loved the sexual chemistry and the tension between these two but also the cute moments that had me sitting there squealing in excitement. Winslow comes into the town knowing she is plans to girlboss her new job and she does just that. She refuses to accept the easy answer like everyone else in the town and instead looks for the truth. Griffen is definitely a bit of a grump but we see him thaw throughout the book, especially when he’s with Winslow and his family. The family dynamic’s were so cute and it has me so excited to read the rest of the families books! There was only minimal spice in this but I will recommend this book for years!!!

This was a great start to a series, with both lead characters fighting their growing romantic feelings. Winn is the new female police chief and Griffin runs the family ranch in a town where his family really rules the roost. Winn starts investigating a series of suicides, wondering whether murder might be involved. This was a gripping read and I'm looking forward to reading more in the series.

Winn is starting her new job as the chief of police for the small town of Quincy, she has a lot to prove to the town as a woman and the granddaughter of the mayor. Some people think she jumped the queue and are not happy she got the job. Her first night and she goes for a drink and gets sat next to one fine looking hunk. Griff suggests a night together and they certainly click in the bedroom with both of them thinking they will never see each other again. It turns out he owns one of the big ranches and when she is investigating a death on his land the attraction is still there. They decide a sex only relationship is good only as the case gets more complicated Griff goes into protection mode. Feelings start to happen and danger is on the horizon.
