Great Suitcase For The Money!!!
The Samsonite Freeform Carry-On Spinner is an excellent suitcase that combines lightweight design, smooth mobility, and practical storage in a compact carry-on size. One of its biggest strengths is how light it feels, making it easy to lift into overhead bins and transport through airports without adding unnecessary weight to your trip. The spinner wheels roll effortlessly in every direction, allowing the suitcase to glide smoothly across airport terminals, hotel lobbies, and sidewalks. Even when fully packed, it remains easy to maneuver and requires very little effort to push or pull. Its compact size is another major advantage. The Freeform fits comfortably in most airline overhead compartments while still providing plenty of packing space for clothing, shoes, and travel essentials. The expandable design offers additional room when needed, making it a great choice for both short weekend trips and longer vacations. The durable hard-shell exterior helps protect belongings during travel, and the built-in TSA-approved lock adds extra security and peace of mind. Combined with its sleek appearance and reliable performance, the Freeform is a carry-on that delivers outstanding value.

Sturdy fashionable worth the price
We purchased these on prime day - so yes we got a deal. However after receiving - I can say they are worth the full price. Well put together. Spinner wheels are effortless. The polypropylene is much more flexible and crack resistant than the cheap plastics used by alot of other luggage sets. Very nice TSA lock. A few zippered compartments inside. Expandable. Very lightweight. Highly recommend!0

Excellent luggage
I used the large one for check-in on a flight and cruise to Alaska. It worked great. I used compression bags and was able to get more in the luggage. The thing I had to watch was the weight. I wanted the TSA locko and combination code, so this was the perfect answer. The only negative is that the large luggage weighs almost 10 pounds which leaves only 40 pounds of clothes etc., and when going to a colder climate, weigh plays major factor when packing. The luggage only suffered a few scratches, but handled all the transporting, from plane to ship to 3 inland hotels: I highly recommend Samsonite luggage.

This luggage rated well and the price is budget friendly!
We haven’t checked it in with an airline yet. But I was surprised how much room the medium size FreeForm has for packing. Depending how disciplined of a packer you are I think it is plenty of room for 1 person. It is also lightweight which I think will make it easier for lifting at the airport. My only complaint is that more thorough instructions about the locking system are not provided. However you can do an Internet search and find helpful information. Additionally, I did some Google Gemini (AI) research and found that the FreeForm luggage consistently was among the top contenders in the rating articles I read. Also, it is budget friendly so that I was able to buy 2 so my spouse has his own bag.

Durable and lightweight
Durable and lightweight suitcases. Both the small and larger size fit a lot of stuff. Easy to set the security locks. i dragged the suitcases up and down escalators (larger size was tricky) through cobble stone streets, up and down hotel stairs (elevator not available) and ran through the airport with the smaller suitcase with no issues. some light scratches from airline travel but not noticeable. i recommend using vacuum sealed bags (buy with portable inflatable rechargeable pump) to fit more clothes just be aware of the airline checked bag weight restrictions. overall a good buy compared to other more expensive brands.

Great, but comes locked with no directions!
Fresh out of the box, the suitcase was locked and there were no directions for how to get it open, as well as no key. I looked over the tags and the box MULTIPLE times. I thought I would have to return it, since I was clearly missing something, but then I Googled what to do, and was then easily able to open it. I do not know why these directions were not included with my purchase, but it is an easy Google (but still, no key). The size is great and I like the internal compartments!

Great for 4-week carry-on only trip
I was planning a 4-week trip to Scotland and needed a case that fit the airline specs, but held as much as possible. I tried out a lot of different carry-ons and decided on this one. The things I looked at were packing volume, weight, handle sturdiness and operation, and extra features. I spent time testing how they maneuvered when packed with a heavy load and had a heavy backpack on top. (The weight can make a real difference as to how easily they roll.) Being expandable was a requirement. This is because you usually wear some of your bulkiest shoes and outerwear, etc., to create more room in the case. Then, once in country, it's possible to expand the luggage to pack those items when traveling town to town. You can also buy some things like toothpaste, hair spray, etc., to use while in country, and then discard before flying home. That can require the carry-on to expand, as well. The carry-on is fairly light weight and has good volume for packing as much as possible. It has a side handle, as well as a top handle. That really helps me lift it up to place on a rack. The placement of the zip divider panel was better than in some of the other bags. Some of the other carry-ons I evaluated had the zip panel sewn in pretty far down below the zipper edge of the case. This really reduced the depth that is available for packing on that side. This case did a better job with that. One thing that was really important to me was the maneuverability when the case was carrying a heavy load. This piece was the best. I can place a heavy backpack on top, and still whip around with ease on hard floors through the airport. I've taken it on trains and through train stations, as well. It's great. On the other reviews, I did note that people said this case showed scratches easily. Because I was going to a wet climate, I also ordered a clear plastic cover for the case. It worked in the rain, and also protected the case. It had to be checked on one occasion and was frequently loaded into the base of a bus. It still looks really good after 4 weeks of travel. One thing that Samsonite could improve on is the direction that the zippered panel opens when unzipped. You have to lay the panel over the other side of the case when it's open. It would be better if it opened to the outside so that the contents of the other side of the case was visible when the the panel is open. All and all, I am very happy with my choice. It worked well for a 4-week carry-on only trip. The color is beautiful, as well. One year later: This is still my favorite carry-on. It holds a lot and handles really well. It's great for US airlines and British Airways. The size is a bit more than allowed on Lufthansa and KLM/AIr France, so I haven't tried using it on their flights in case they are checking. I've seen people boarding with larger bags, though, so it boils down to whether or not you want to risk having it gate checked. When weight is an issue, this bag is about 1/2 to 3/4 lb. more than I would like, but it's not bad. I still haven't found a bag that is that much lighter, that holds as much and that maneuvers as well.

Sturdy and easy to pack! Happy!
I bought this suitcase to replace my red soft sided Samsonite. I wanted to try out a hard sided case, and I researched hard sided cases thoroughly, along with the newer soft sided ones just to compare. I didn’t see anything superior with soft sided, although I do have a newer 20” purple TravelPro that I adore. Ultimately I was between this one, the Amazon basics hardside, Delsey Chatelet, and Samsonite Omni PC and Winfield 2. This one was rated in most top 5’s. The suitcase rated best on most lists was the hardside models from the company Away, but they are above my price range. I also read the reviews here on Amazon. The Omni PC and Winfield are both beautiful, but the Omni has an inferior plastic top handle that breaks easily, and the Winfield’s glossy case seems to scratch easily. I ultimately decided on this one due to color and pricing. The Amazon basics suitcase is rated well for the price, but unfortunately I really don’t like the looks of it. The Delsey Chatelet is gorgeous, but has limited color choices and is slightly pricier. I also considered the Delsey Paris Helium Air and TravelPro Maxlite Air, which are great looking, but both were not rated well, mostly for sturdiness issues. I loved this suitcase when it came! I like that the shell is matte, and shouldn’t scratch, and the whole shell is sturdy, has lots of pockets and we’ll working zippers, expands, and has a TSA lock. Empty it was very light and the wheels maneuvered easily and seemed sturdy. Packing this thing is awesome to me in comparison to my soft shells. It does need to open completely flat to access both sides, but I didn’t mind that at all throughout my trip. It’s so easy with the two sides - I put clothing in packing cubes in one side, and care case and all other items in the other half. One half zips close completely with a material cover, and the other has the standard suitcase clips. It also has a few different pockets. I was able to fit everything I needed with ease for a 7-day trip. It doesn’t flex quite as much as a soft shell, but I actually found that to be an advantage - it doesn’t allow you to overpack. I checked this suitcase round trip on a weeklong trip to Florida, and it held up beautifully. I didn’t notice any damage to the case, and it’s so light and easy to maneuver. It rolled with ease in the airport and out on the street. It goes up curbs without a hitch, and is easy on escalators. It has a sturdy handle on top and on the side. Zippers are holding up great so far. I can’t see myself buying another soft sided suitcase if this holds up for awhile. I love it!! The only thing I can’t rate it on is longevity, as I’ve only taken it on one trip. I’d like to say “I’ll update if this review changes, but we all know that won’t happen!” :)

Perfect IF only it was dirt proof. Lol
I love this set and I love white but then obviously it easily gets dirty. Would’ve been perfect if it’s dirt proof. Lol kidding aside, durability and baggage capacity is superb.

Worth every penny
Samsonite cabin luggage honestly one of the best travel purchases I’ve made. The suitcase feels sturdy without being too heavy, and the spinner wheels glide smoothly even through crowded airports. The handle is solid, the zippers feel premium, and the interior has enough compartments to keep everything organized.Love the colour
