I used to get these tablets in the little tubes but to be honest it was always difficult to get the plastic wrapper off the tubes so you could get to the tablets. These are in a nice bottle with an easy-to-screw-off lid that makes a lot more sense. When I feel I need a little glucose I take two of these and feel so much better. I am not a doctor, nor is this review medical advice but I am finding these tablets are also good for "shock" from losing my beloved cat. So if anything bad happens these might be good to have on hand for shock that used to be treated with sugar water when I was a kid.

I keep these in my car & several places in my house. I am diabetic & prone to lows. These tabs are convenient to carry in my pocket when I'm out because I refill the round tubes; they fit perfectly. They also melt quickly in the mouth - important during hypoglycemia when time is important.

I keep a bottle or two in my car in case of a hypoglycemic episode.

These glucose tablets are a life saver, literally. I have reactive hypoglycemia, and have had blood glucose levels of 40. When it gets that low, I cannot function at all Fortunately I have learned the symptoms when it is coming on, and can usually take these glucose tablets to reverse the insulin dump and blood glucose crash before it hits full force. My wife and granddaughter who lives with us also are trained to recognize the symptoms and know what to do.

I use these when I notice my glucose levels dropping. Also, used them when I was unable to have only clear liquids prior to a procedure & then when I was unable to have anything for at least 3 hours prior to the procedure. I was able to maintain good glucose levels prior to procedure. Like the taste
