Hi all. Was going to buy a Gates belt for my Tundra but noticed it was Chade in Mina. Amazon listed this one five bucks cheaper but no mention of the country of origin. So thought i would take a chance anyway. When it got here and was labeled Made in Germany it was like BONUS! It fit great but don't have any time on it yet so we'll see how it goes. But definitely a Germanic origin is a serious plus.

May not properly fit your GM 4.2L inline 6
2002 Trailblazer with 4.2L inline 6. This belt is too short to fit properly on my engine. This may depend on whether the alternator is 130 amp or 150 amp. Not sure which is on this used vehicle of mine but this belt is too short.

Good OEM replacement
Received item with a taped X on the box. Seller assured me it was their quality control technique.3800 Series II [non-supercharger] installation tip: Remove the two 10mm nuts holding down the Coolant Recovery Tank. Moving it out of the way as needed makes accessing the three lower grooved pulleys much easier.
