Great Space-Saving Shoe Organizer
I’m very impressed with this over-the-door shoe organizer! It was pretty easy to assemble, feels sturdy, and holds a surprising number of shoes without taking up any floor space. The metal frame and mesh shelves are much more durable than the fabric organizers I’ve used in the past. I love that it keeps my shoes visible and organized, making it easy to find the pair I want. It fits securely over the door and doesn’t wobble when opening or closing. Even with multiple pairs of sneakers and sandals, it remains stable. If you’re looking for a space-saving solution to organize your closet, this shoe rack is definitely worth it!

Read this before assembling
I bought this shoe organizer for my wife and I am very happy with it (she is too). I tried one of those organizers that is like a big sheet with a bunch of pockets on it... useless. The pockets were too small to hold 90% of the shoes she has (just one shoe per pocket), and shoes that have any kind of weight to the heel pull on the pocket and hang way out away from the door. That thing got returned. But this one I like. The "shelves" are deep enough to hold just about any kind of shoe, and the construction is sturdy enough that I feel pretty confident that it will last. The metal tube frame is very lightweight but the design is good and it seems like it will do the job long term. The hooks that go over the door are padded on the inside and the frame has plastic endcaps on the parts that touch the door, so I don't expect it to do any damage to the door. Now, as far as the assembly goes - yes, it comes with a full-size, multi-page instruction manual that is well written and has large, easy to comprehend diagrams, but the sequence of steps should be changed up to make the process much easier. The manual instructs you to assemble one vertical support and attach ALL of the horizontal rods in the first step. After having done this, you are supposed to slide the single piece mesh shelving over all of the horizontal bars. Imagine this and you'll understand. The mesh is extremely lightweight and porous, and the sleeves that fit over the horizontal rods are fairly snug. This means that you will have to slide a couple inches onto one rod, then a couple inches onto the next rod and so on. The whole time you are doing this, the mesh that you put over the first few rods is actively trying to work itself off. This is pretty frustrating and it takes a relatively long time to get all of the mesh over all of the rods. Here's my recommendation: 1. Assemble the two vertical supports and hang them over the door at the proper distance apart. 2. Connect the top horizontal rod to one side and slide the top sleeve of the mesh material completely onto the tube. 3. Loosely connect the first rod to the other vertical support so that the mesh is trapped and can't go anywhere. 4. Then slide the remaining horizontal rods into the remaining mesh sleeves and loosely connect both ends to the vertical supports. 5. Repeat this until all of the rods are in place and then tighten everything up, making sure not to pinch the mesh at either end. 6. Stand back and marvel at how easy that was. This is how I wish I had assembled it. Efficient. Stable. Zero frustration. Try it out and let me know.

Best shoe rack!
Absolutely love this shoe rack. Actually bought two one for me and one for my husband. Makes a neat and organized addition to our closet. Easy to put together and very durable. The rack has mesh and metal racks and holds all our shoes with room to spare. Shoes fit on racks good without sticking out when you go into the closet.

Lots of pieces, but easy to put together
I recently got this 36-pair over-the-door shoe organizer for my husband, and while it’s definitely a good product, it doesn’t quite reach the level of greatness I was hoping for. Our spare closet is where he keeps all his off-season shoes and sneakers, and I was getting really tired of seeing them just tossed into the bottom of the closet. So, I decided it was time to find a sturdy over-the-door rack. This one caught my eye because it’s made out of metal, which seemed a bit more robust compared to some of the other options I was considering. When I first opened the box, I took a look at all the pieces, but my ADHD brain wasn’t having it that day, so I decided to put it off until later. Fast forward to today, and I finally got around to assembling it. It took me about 30 minutes, which was actually much easier than I had anticipated. I did make one silly mistake, though and I put the mesh on backwards, so I had to redo that part, which added a little extra time. But overall, I’d say it was a pretty straightforward process. Now, onto the performance. While it does serve its purpose by providing a place to store my husband’s shoes, I have to admit that it’s not quite deep enough for them. He doesn’t have particularly large feet; he wears size 8 1/2 but his sneakers still had to be squeezed in a bit. If his feet were any bigger, I think it would have been a real struggle to fit them in there. Despite this, I found the installation process to be super easy. I didn’t bother fixing it to the doors permanently; I just hung it over them, and it works just fine. I do appreciate the large size of the organizer, and it definitely does what it promises to do. So, while it’s not perfect, it’s a solid choice for keeping things a bit more organized in our closet.

Best Shoe Rack on the Market!
This shoe rack is one of the best things I've ever bought. Before, all of our shoes were either stuffed in an old, cloth organizer or piled on the floor; now, they're all neatly displayed and easier to keep clean, since they're not laying on top of each other in the closet. There are only 2 downsides for us: (1) it definitely doesn't hold 36 pairs of shoes. My husband wears a size men's 9, and I wear women's 8-ish, and I can really only fit about 4 shoes on each shelf, for a total of 24 pairs. It manages to hold all of our shoes, but I was hoping to be able to store our daughter's shoes here as well. No big deal, though; it's still a massive improvement compared to how they were being stored before. (2) the height between the shelves is too low for a lot of my shoes, so I'm having to turning them sideways and/or lay them flat. I'm not sure that any shoe rack is really designed for wedges and boots with a heel, though, and at least they somewhat fit on this rack. I've never been able to find another over-the-door organizer that can hold bigger shoes like this one can. Other than that, we love it! It was really easy to put together, and it's incredibly sturdy. Even the mesh seems like a good quality that should last a long while. The bars that go over the door are thin enough that we haven't had any issues closing the door. 10/10 would recommend, and I'm planning on buying a second one to go over our daughter's door for all of her shoes!

CUTE, FITS ALOT, & Budget Friendly
We live in an apartment and we can’t drill anything into walls or doors also there’s not lot of space to work with in our room and closet I spent alot of time trying to figure out where I wanted to put our shoes and what type of shoe rack would work best and I ended up finding this one on Amazon!! I love our it fits perfectly behind / on our door, we don’t have to drill anything into the door and this thing is a huge space saver, my bf installed it and it didn’t take him too long with us great! The functionality of this is top tier I wasn’t sure if it was going to fit all our shoes (bc we have a lot) but it ended up fitting EVERYTHING except for my boots you can place boots at the top or even reco handing them on the side of this (another project I will get to later haha) but loving this and so glad they had a white color bc that goes best with my personal aesthetic. Overall it looks great and the quality is amazing for our budget! I can’t highly recommend enough especially if your space is small or have alot of stuff!!

Highly recommend
I moved into a smaller space and lost shoe storage. This is a life saver, I love it! I was able to put 42 pairs of shoes. So happy! Read the instructions because I thought I didn't need to.. but I mixed somethings up and had to unscrew lol

This is a good product. I do have some notes though…
If you are considering getting this product, you should totally buy it. I looked at hundreds of knock-off brands with weird names that have products like this, but the same price and crappier. This is a really high-quality product for a really great price. I would expect to see this kind of thing at a Target. Very sturdy, very well made. I also like that they have a patent on this design, because to me that shows that they are trying to provide a high-quality item, not just sell junk. That being said, here is why I give it 4 stars: 1. The instructions aren’t as effective as they could be. I would suggest to the Whitmor team that they test a group of consumers and monitor them as they put the rack together. Sliding the mesh over all the poles at once just is not really feasible. You should definitely slide the mesh over the poles and THEN screw them in. Other instruction thoughts: - Assembly time: it took me 45 minutes to assemble completely. - Complicated: I was briefly overwhelmed at first with all the labels on the bags, trying to find A, B, C, and D. The first step had way too many instructions at once. I would suggest a step-by-step assembly video (QR code on the instructions). 2. No-go for high tops. I assumed my boots would have to go on the top shelf, but as you can see, my Jordans (and not pictured, my heels) didn’t fit upright and were way too big for the slots. I had to stuff them sideways, which meant less room. This is partly because of the angled way you slide shoes in—it just doesn’t work for anything besides very low-topped shoes. 3. Cover photo shows that you can fit 3 pairs nicely in one row. This is totally false. I wear Women’s size 8, and two pairs plus a single shoe was the most I could get in one row. Overall, really great product. Just a few pieces of feedback I would give the creators. I think they have a great thing going though, and I would recommend this product to anyone. (New product ideas for this brand: - same shelf, freestanding (not in a cart, but tall and thin) - same shelf, area with one larger gap for boots and high tops)

Excellent quality and a huge space saver!
I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy this shoe organizer is. The metal frame feels much more durable than the fabric organizers I've owned in the past, and the mesh backing keeps the shoes from slipping off while protecting the door. Assembly was straightforward and only took about 15 minutes. Once installed, it fit securely over my closet door without wobbling or interfering with opening and closing the door. It holds a surprising number of shoes, and I love that I can easily see every pair instead of digging through a pile on the closet floor. I use it for sneakers, sandals, flats, and even a few ankle boots with no issues. It's been a great way to free up floor space and keep everything organized.
