Great for securing gear to BCD
I bought this to keep my AI dive computer close to my body and in a place that’s easily accessible. It installed very quickly, it has lasted many dives, and has never given me any issues. I’m happy with the length of the cord and the strength of the spring to retract the cord. It definitely helps to streamline my diving profile. I’ve thought about buying a few more to keep other gear tidy. Definitely would recommend.

Not for scuba gauges or consoles.
It works.* Nothing wrong with this for lightweight gear like a small light etc. Nowhere near strong enough for gages etc. Again, nothing wrong with it but better discloser is needed. There are products that specifically say "for console". Not worth the effort to return it. I'll use it somewhere.

Warranty is real.
The retractable line broke off during my first year of ownership, so I found the mfgr website and sent them an email message requesting warranteed replacement. They replied and asked for a photo, proof of purchase, shipping addresss. They sent me a replacement, new, works great!

It may not be suitable for saltwater
I used this for the first time in saltwater and after it dried, it became sluggish with the retraction. A few sprays of non-oil lubrication and it was working again. I suggest rinsing it thoroughly after each saltwater use.

Rusty Parts
I purchased this gear holder 6 months ago and the rings have rusted and stained my BCD. This is an ok product function wise but it is not well suited for dive gear in ocean water. I do not trust the quality, integrity or sturdiness of the clip to hold expensive dive accessories.

Retractable scuba gear
My husband loves this little gadget. He is an open water diver along with a swift water and rescue diver. He said it comes in very handy. Holds up and gets the job done. Highly recommend for those divers in your life. 10/10

I use it to clip my gopro on my scuba diving equipment. I like that its kevlar retractable line and it won’t rust.

Not bad
Currently putting it through its paces. First thing that happened though was that the universal end fitting (metal wire) kept popping off, dropping everything on it. It seems the slightest funny angle lets one end pop through - repeatedly, rendering it useless. Now using the more traditional split ring attachment (+1 that they include options) and it is more secure. Belt attachment as good as any hook and loop type I have used.

Pesimo, pedi el pequeño y el grande; tienen CERO resistencia en el resorte, por lo que cualquier cosa que cuelgues, al bucear se extiende y va colgando. A uno le colgue la lampara de buceo, cuando sali tenia el cable enrollado en el cuello. peligroso y no apto para buceo

Excelente accesorio para mi Go Pro
Lo uso para tener mi Go Pro conmigo y si veo algo interesante simplemente lo grabo y lo suelto para que regrese a su posicion original.
