Initiation (Hawkeye Denver) Paperback – October 19, 2021

Wow, I don't know where to start! Firstly, if you're into BDSM and erotica books then this is the book for you. It's a quick but ooh so satisfying read! I can't get enough of Jennifer and Master Logan, like I need more. Master Logan is our delicious hero who's ex-military && now in private security. When he see Jennifer from across the room at a play party, he knows he has to have her. Jennifer is our beautiful lead who's new to BDSM and goes to a play party her friend is having where she meets a dominate who doesn't give her the experience she was hoping for, but she sees Logan from across the room and can feel his dominance. They're setup and ooh boy does the sexiness and steam happen from there. After reading this book, I definitely wouldn't mind finding myself a Master Logan. Don't be shy cause this is a must read. I'm looking forward to reading book 2 next and I hope we get to see some more of these characters.

Honest to god, no one writes a hotter, more addicting, intense, ‘welcome’ to a BDSM read, than Sierra Cartwright. Initiation is just that. Jennifer is new to the BDSM scene, but isn’t ignorant or dumb. None of this authors women are. It’s one of the greatest things about her writing. All her female leads are smart, professional and driven. Jennifer knows it’s something she wants to pursue, but has a pretty disappointing start. Enter Logan Powell. Really, there should be background music right now! Logan is a very experienced Dom who has an immediate interest in Jennifer, the type of interest he hasn’t had in a long time. Fast forward, and friends set them up to explore a D/s relationship which is turns absolutely explosive! These are two mature adults who understand that when a connection clicks, you take a risk. Of course there are obstacles. Their jobs, his needs (requests? Demands?), her independence, and trust. The bottom, line; trust. But their time together on the arranged weekend proves to both of them that they definitely click. The ‘Initiation’ Jennifer experiences under Logan is tangible to the reader. I found myself squirming and wincing a few times, then swiveling in my chair and even being grateful I haven’t put my air conditioning away for the season yet! Just when you think Logan is going too far, his Dominance proves its purity in his care and attention for Jennifer. She wants this, but needs to be shown how to ask for it, how to assert her power, and Logan gives her that at every turn. Jennifer is also one not to back down. Her insecurity at one point is natural and not over dramatized. She meets Logan toe to toe and insists on being heard. But when you have a Dom like Logan, you need to be ready to turn your heart and soul over – it will be kept safe. This read says Book #1 and I certainly hope there are many more to come. Sierra Cartwright just keeps getting better and better. If you are new to her writing, welcome! Enjoy the ride! Her Donovan Dynasty series is probably my favorite, but we’ll see where this goes!

I recently found this author and I love reading her books. I don’t know if she writes anything other than BDSM genre. That is the genre of books that I have read by Sierra Cartwright.Initiation is the first book in the Master Class series and is Jennifer Berklee & Logan Powell’s story. Jennifer is a wannabee sub and Logan is trying to avoid emotional entanglements. Well-meaning friends hook Jennifer and Logan up and the story continues from there. It is a very hot story! So beware. There is also a warning so do read it and if you don’t like what is in the warning then I suggest not reading this book. However, if you aren’t worried then I think you will enjoy this book.My warning to you is that this book ends abruptly and I wasn’t ready for it to end. The good news is the next book in this series releases December 6, 2016 and that is just around the corner. The good news for me is that I have the ARC Enticement that showed up on my Kindle today. (Good timing for me since I just finished Initiation)Initiation was not an ARC I bought it in preparation for reading Enticement. I give this book 4.5 stars. And, I will be starting Enticement as soon as I post this review.

This is a complete story with NO loose ends. NOT a cliffhanger. Action/adventure? One scene. Romance? Yep. Sex? Definitely.

I am totally having a fangirl moment here. First of all, I positively love Sierra Cartwright. Not only is she a completely amazing author and I have everything she's written, but she's am amazing person as well. Just a truly warm and wonderful human being. That being said, can I give you an unbiased review of this book? Absolutely. That's my job. Just like an author's is to write the best work they can every time, that's my job as a reviewer/blogger.Am I going to give this book a 5 orgasm rating? Absopositively!!! Why you ask? Because it's incredibly well written, the storyline pulls you in from the very first line of the book. I could probably poll every single submissive woman on the planet right now, me included, and they would tell you the same thing. We all the same thing, We want Master Logan! ♥ *sighing*Logan Powell decides to come out of his self-imposed isolation after cutting off the fairer sex because of a bad breakup four years earlier. He sees neophyte sub Jennifer Berklee. After watching her for a bit, he sees her go with another Dom, the scene goes poorly, and Jennifer bolts. Logan sees his chance and runs after her, but he strikes out.A few weeks later, he's introduced to her by his friend. Can they make it work this time? The Initiation is the beginning of a new series that going to be a read that will blow your mind. Sierra Cartwright is an amazing writer that knows what her fans want and sure as heck knows how to deliver.

Who wouldn't like an initiation into submission like that and find themselves a life partner!? Logan is seriously tummy and deserves the title Master. He introduces Jennifer with lots of skill and patience to the world of bdsm. They have a wonderful connection that allows them to move forward quickly with their relationship. Beautiful story with lots of hot, steamy sex.

Master Logan is a total hottie. Sexy, and demanding and skilled. He and Jennifer make the perfect D/s couple. They complement each other so beautifully. D/s soulmates. Can't wait to read more books in the series.
