Lisa in New York (The Misadventures of Gaspard and Lisa)

This series of books is great for teachign travel and transportation to school-agers. I read the story to my preschoolers and they loved it. Its also great for children taking their first flight.

When I was a child we use to go to visit my dad in NY. Us kids loved Times Square...the tacky souvenirs and dollar store. This book reminds me of those great memories. The illustrator is wonderful...I love all his books.

It is adorable for adults, children and parents. Cats like it too.

The book is hardback. Easy read! My son really likes Gaspard and Lisa so I have purchased a few of these books by Anne Gutman and she is a great Author!

This is a great book for kids with beautiful imagery of New York. It also tells an important story of paying attention to one's surroundings. I would reccommend for kids of all ages.

My 3 yr-old comes alive when he reads a Gaspard and Lisa story. It is perfect for an early reader that you would like to challenge to keep them interested in reading

Great Kids Book!

Dieses Buch ist mehr als gebraucht es ist verbraucht, nur noch für die Papiertonne geeignet.Durch die guten Bewertungen habe ich mich hin reißen lassen es zu kaufen. Das Buch kommt aus einer Schulbücherei und ging durch mehrere Hände. Es wurde mehrmals am Rand geklebt und die Seiten lösen sich. Ich vermute dass sie das Buch wegschmeißen wollten. Es ist wirklich schade, denn es sollte eigentlich ein Geschenk sein aber ich kann nicht mehr machen als es wegschmeißen und mich darüber ärgern Geld dafür bezahlt zu haben.

この本の表紙のポスターを持っていて、まさか絵本になっているとは思わなくてすぐ購入。内容も読みやすいし子供の読み聞かせに英語で言った後に翻訳して使っています。中学程度の英語なので読めると思います。

何故この犬？たちが当たり前に生活しているのでしょう。ニューヨークを観光したりおみやげものを買ったり、しかも迷子になっての大騒動。何故？が絵本のページをめくっていくうちに自然に思えてしまうのが不思議です。１冊読むと全部欲しくなる、愛すべきキャラクターにすっかりハマってしまった私。特にこのリサがニューヨークに行くお話は大好き。一度訪れたことのある方はもちろん、未だ行ったことのない方も気が付くとリサとニューヨークの街中を歩いているはずです。

英語版を買いました。おもしろすぎです！！大笑いしてしまいました。NYには行ったことありませんがLisaはかわいいし、内容はおもしろすぎ(本当に笑える!!!)だし、Lisaシリーズ集めてしまいそうです。

新婚旅行がニューヨークだったので、絵を見ているだけで懐かしく胸がいっぱいになりました。可愛らしいとてもいい本だと思います。大人も楽しめます。ありがとうございました。
