This kettle is absolutely brilliant, I have Rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis, and fractured my wrist last year. This makes, making a cup of tea so much easier. I don’t have to lift the kettle at all, just tip and pour. It’s easy to fill up as well. This is a must for anyone with weak wrists or hands.

Being 5 foot 1 or 2 watching her lift a full kettle of boiling water didn't feel right it looked like a potential accident and when I was shopping for something else this popped up on the page and I clicked on it out of curiosity and after reading about it and checking the reviews I thought of her lifting the kettle and ordered it for her now she is definitely delighted with it and has no complaints so far anyway and trust me if there is a fault of any type she will spot it straight away but so far she said mainly not having to lift the kettle any more made a bigger difference that we thought so now so far all around happy the build quality seems good and it is just an all round good package and peace of mind to by eliminating one of the biggest risks in the kitchen so would definitely recommend to anyone who has any problems if it comes to a kettle so like I said overall so far in all ways no complaints about any part of it if any faults arise I will update this

Perfect for my son's needs

Bought for my mum as didn't want her to burn herself. It's easy to use and she doesn't have to lift it. She loves it and it goes with her new kitchen.

Clever design this, and it looks really smart sitting on the worktop, although it's quite a bit smaller than we expected, and the actual tilting mechanism seems rather flimsy. The mains cable is 1.4 mtrs long but you do have to allow for the fact that the cable has to move a fair bit when you are pouring,( see video) so we could have done with ours being just a little bit longer. The spout itself pours really well. You do have to be careful to keep a decent level of water in this kettle ( as mentioned in the instruction manual umpteen times! ) ......this is because due to the design it would be really easy to expose the heating element and cause it to fail prematurely. ( including a low level cutoff switch wasn't an option, for some reason) And we wouldn't want that now would we. Fortunately they’ve marked the lowest safe level (0.7 ltr) but we seem to be spending an awful lot of time filling it up again, simply because it's such a small kettle. I'd say on safety grounds alone this kettle is arguably worth the money, because it does one thing really well. But perhaps not otherwise.

I bought this as I have both an essential tremor and arthritis in my hands. Lifting a kettle (or anything with hot water in) is a potentially dangerous activity for me. Getting this kettle was a life-saver. I got it after I dropped my "normal" kettle - luckily not just boiled (but it could have been) ... It's helped so much, not, just with hot drinks, but saving time boiling water to do some other household tasks, and reminding me that my hands don't "handle" heavy pans well any longer! It seems to be pretty robust to, so I'd say it's a good, economical purchase.

I've generalised osteoarthritis and this kettle is a must have for anyone with muscle and joint weakness. I love it so much, I bought a spare one! And I've bought my friend one who was unable to use a normal kettle after her stomach operation. Its easy to fill bit by by with a jug..or just take it off its tipper stand..its easy to descale too. What a brilliant piece of equipment. Thank you.

I bought this kettle because my arthritis hands made holding a kettle difficult. This kettle is very safe you never have to pick up when full of hot water - it is very neat and looks smart. It does not take up a lot of room. Thank you to designer for such a great product.

This is an amazing kettle. My dad who has Benign Essential Tremors and my mom with Parkinson's this works really really well.

This is great for people with disabilities and the safety features work well. I would love to see them improve this product with a couple small things. A fill line on the inside would make it easier to fill. Also it doesn't allow it to pour more than a cup at a time without lifting the kettle. I would still recommend this product.

When I saw this, I thought this would be perfect for my 89 year old father. He lives alone, but he is not as stable as he used to be. This allows him to pour hot water safely. Now I have one less thing to worry about! I would recommend this to others that have a senior family member that wants to keep their independence. Beyond the safety aspect, I think it looks like good quality and is attractive in my father's kitchen.

Easy to use for elderly or someone with limited hand strength. Purchased for someone with tremors to eliminate the worry of them burning themselves trying to pour hot water.
