Not as fancy as some other brands but significantly cheaper and it did the trick - cutting through 1/2" plasterboard for LED downlights.

I bought this on the off chance after blunting two other hole saws cutting laminate flooring. This thing rips its way through in seconds, the teeth are big and sharp and it so quick it doesn’t even get warm. Would recommend if you have a lot of holes to cut in a short space of time. Just make sure you switch it to the back to score it before returning to the front, or it will burst through the back.

In contrast with the product description, this is neither smooth, nor fast cutting. I bought this to make some cableways through the back panel of a G-Plan cabinet, so that I can run my hi-fi amp inside it. It did the job, but it doesn't cut cleanly and split the wood unpredictably I would not use it on a cut where either side is going to be visible. I'd also advise not to go straight into cutting a finished hole with the as the point on the cup cutters is thick and effectively blunts the tool to begin with. Even from the second cut, the blade just isn't sharp enough and is a little thick, the teeth and the shape are uneven. in general the look and feel is of a poor quality product, made to a low price point. When I need to do this type of cut again, I'll be buying a better tool made from better materials .

Perfect cutting tool for making a hole in my water butt lid for the drainpipe to flow into. The size was exactly what I needed and it gave a snug fit for the down pipe.

At first glance, the quality didn’t seem great. Fair price for fair quality I guess. But its sharp and cuts fine (soft pine, quite quickly). Even comes with a spare pilot drill bit.

Works great nice and sharp. Getting the cutouts is a pain as the slots are so tiny, need a very narrow flat screwdriver to work it out. Some larger side Or top slots would make this a 5 star item.

used it one time to make a whole in a wooden cabinet. went in easy and smooth. nice clean cut. excellent for this value if you need it like this. the little spring is a nice touch. I can't say how it holds up under professional use. but for here and there, i think it will hold out good.
