Very pleased and satisfied with this product!
I am very pleased with this product! It's a great value, very good quality for the low price! Yes, I know it's (heavy, durable) plastic, but if you want real metal, then go buy a different unit for a higher price. I'm a pretty handy woman when it comes to fixing things and this was an easy install for me! The hardest part was removing the old shower head that had been on the shower arm for the last 13 years, since this apt complex was built! Once I had it off, I made sure to scrub the threads clean of decayed pipe tape and mineral buildup with a copper pot scrubber. I then used two wraps of the pipe tape because the shower arm threads are a bit rough, so the tape made the diverter easier to screw on. I had to use the extra washer in the diverter connection to the shower arm to stop it from leaking, which it did. I also *gently* screwed the diverter on a tad tighter than the instructions, so the hose connection is not straight down below the diverter, and the hand held shower head socket is past horizontal, to get it screwed on tight enough to the shower arm, but the hand held unit still stays tight in the holder very securely with no risk of falling out of it. I have plenty of water pressure, and did not have to remove any sort of flow restricter in the diverter unit. Didn't even see one, not sure why other purchasers had to do that. The trickiest and slightly frustrating assembly step was screwing the hose nut onto the diverter fully. You have to keep the hose end within the hose nut pulled back completely and straight, so the hose nut will screw on all the way. Screw it on tight, then pull back on and wiggle the hose end, gently screw the hose nut on some more and repeat until the hose is firmly attached all the way. It took me two tries, but I took a good look at the problem and instantly knew what to do to make it work. Then I had no more trouble. The instructions that come with it are easy to follow, just look at the illustrations and written steps, and do what they say. Don't man-handle the pieces, nor over-tighten the connections! If you have any trouble assembling the shower head parts, just stop and take a good look at the part/s, examine them critically keeping the instructions in mind, so you understand what you're doing or not doing, and why. This isn't rocket science! I am really looking forward to having a much nicer shower after supper tonight, than the old, basic shower head gave me before! Yay! This product definitely deserves 5 stars! I highly recommend it to anyone with a tight budget but desiring a nice shower experience!

This is the best cheap shower head ever. The hose and extra head options is a super awesome bonus!
I don't know why some people have issues. Or maybe I do. Maybe they leave the water regular in. The water regulator is on the part that connects directly to the pipe on your shower wall. You will see a black rubber washer and a white thing behind it. With some needle nose pliers pull the rubber washer out. The white piece behind it should simply fall out. The white piece is the water regulator. You can leave it out if you have pressure issues. I removed it on mine and it works great. The pressure of either shower head is plenty powerful when you select 1 or the other. You can select both heads at the same time at a slightly reduced water pressure. That is just the nature of water pressure. You can have higher pressure and less water, or more water and less pressure. If you don't like that blame physics not this product. This comes with a small spool of plumbing tape which I used on the shower pipe and each of the threads on both shower heads and the shower hose even though they all have rubber washers as well. Nothing is leaking on mine It is working great! Just follow the instructions and make sure you put the rubber washers on every threaded connection as well as putting some plumbing tape around all the threads just to be safe. They are super simple to set up and it even shows you where the water regulator is where it talks about how to clean the inside of it. I got this installed in 5 minutes. And to all you people saying, "You get what you pay for." Yeah DUH! Of course this isn't real chrome or steel. You pay extra just to have something be chrome, but really the function is the same. You aren't getting extra features for having it made of metal. The only extra feature you get is that it is prone to rust over time. This is made of plastic, but it isn't a super cheap light flimsy plastic. When you hold the pieces they have some heft to them. They feel plenty sturdy for their intended purpose. Sure maybe the chrome appearance will fade or flake off over time. Most plastic things with shiny coatings do, but I live in an apartment and I can't afford a fancy $150 shower head. This thing is so cheap that if it broke in a couple years I would just buy another.
