GREAT for UNDER $10
I've had this product for years, bought it for about 5 bucks. I will say, figuring out the radio is a whole thing, but if you're like me and use it just for blue tooth, it's pretty darn solid. I use it in the shower, pool, and have brought it to many lakes, beaches, and hotels. It does the job and hasn't broke in the 2+ years I've had it. Not sure where all these terrible reviews are coming from, but it's a solid buy... if it's under $10. If youre paying anymore than that, you can probably do better sound wise.

Does the basic job, but UI is annoying
It does what it's supposed to: connects to my phone via Bluetooth and allows me to listen to BT audio streams (in fold-down mono) on a water-resistant and rechargeable device. In this regard, it's earned 3/5 stars. However, the audio quality is moderate to poor. It can be reasonably assumed at this point that most music pumped through such a device will be bassy and it handles that decently, though particularly deep frequencies (45Hz and under) tend to resonate. What's abysmal are the high-end frequencies, which sound brittle and tinny. Music like jazz, orchestral, choral, chamber, folk or anything not overwhelmed by bass should be avoided on this device.Additionally, the UI is obnoxious: when turning device on, a low-fidelity British male voice shouts "Bluetooth ready!" then "Bluetooth connected!" and finally "Bluetooth off!" when disconnecting. If I want to use this device while someone sleeps in the next room, I literally have to force my hand over the speaker to prevent the voice from waking others. And beyond being obnoxious, the vocal UI is also redundant to the LED connection indicator. However, the LED is so bright I had to place a strip of electrical tape over it, and the light still bleeds through the device plastic! Wouldn't be so bad if it just didn't blink!! A solid blue light would have been enough to indicate connection, so why does it have to blink, flooding any room or shower with bright flashing blue light?!Unfortunately, Sharper Image's name—while once synonymous with quality and craftsmanship—is now like THX certification: just slap the logo on the box to make it sell! This device was clearly made by a generic factory in China and Sharper Image just slapped their logo on it, despite it being no higher quality than any generic Bluetooth shower speaker.

Buy something else.
It might be good as a Bluetooth speaker, but as radio it is useless. The main problem is that volume control in FM mode is not working at all, it is either blasting at full volume or mute. In case of Bluetooth mode it is possible to adjust volume on your phone, but there are better Bluetooth speakers out there.

Don't waste your money
Cheap and hugely disappointing- this was a kids gift from Santa. Garbage product. 1st Couldn't turn it on then vol button didn't work.Tried to turn off product and we couldn't. Had to put it in our garage overnight till the battery ran out.

I love mine
Big sound for a little speaker and small price! Bluetooth connects easily. Ability to skip or replay tracks on Slacker Radio! Volume controls take a little practice, but once you get the hang of it, they're fine. Mine doesn't pick up any FM stations, but I live in a rural area. I didn't buy it for that purpose anyway.Bought mine at Target on clearance & went back to get a 2nd one, but they were all gone!
