Q: will this also take out engine oil

I'm not sure about this. I used mine for just routine oils on the body. It worked okay for this but I must say I have not used it that much. I did notice that it made the water silky feeling. You might want to contact the seller.

Q: I dumped a 4 oz bottle of lemongrass oil in my 16000 gallon pool. It has turned the whole pool yellow. Will this product be able to get rid of the oil

Someone poured motor in our pool, we used this one and flock out. Worked well for us, but we had to do the process a few times. And we attached rags to our skimmer, to catch the oil and putting the products in. Hope this helps.
