DEWALT DWMT74738 Tough Box 23 PC 3/8" Drive Impact Socket Set

I have some excellent quality American made Craftsman sockets, but I bought these to go with a DeWalt Impact Driver and I’m glad I did, they are a pleasure to use and beautifully made. The included ratchet handle is also really nice with it’s fine toothed ratchet. I like the case but wish it was more compact. Also wish some smaller sizes of sockets were included, otherwise it’s a great set at a great price for impact rated sockets.

This is one of my favorite sets. The ratchet is strong and comfortable to use. Sockets are easy to find the size even when not in case. I will be buying other DeWalt socket sets with hopes they are made as well as this one.

I've been a Dewalt user for decades and I'm generally very satisfied with their products. I bought the 23pc set in 3/8" about 4 months ago (2018) and have used it in a commercial setting weekly and it's great! I would deduct just a little bit for not having the for sight to put in a 10mm socket but I was aware of that when I purchased it. I easily found one and threw it in the case though. I've used this servicing our tractors, vans, cars at work but have not had to use the sockets with an impact gun yet. So I can't attest to their strength. The black coating does easily wear off but I didn't buy um for the color.

These are some really nice impact sockets for the money. They have held up well for me so far. Made in Taiwan not China, these are some heavy duty impact sockets and I like that they go up to 21 mm on the metric and 1 inch on the standard. The only thing is it should have a 10 mm. It starts at 12 and every 3/8 set needs to have a 10 mm. Other than that, it is probably the best deal around for 40 bucks.

Excellent set of 3/8" sockets with a decent storage case at a good price. Manufactured in Taiwan, not CCP is a big plus.

Awesome set of sockets great case not flimsy at all very durable sockets impact rated and has all the sizes you normally need the ratchet is very nice and comfortable

My DEWALT 23 Piece Tough Box is just the right size for home projects. The 3/8 inch drive and socket are made of durable material and contains all the sizes I need for my home projects. Now I’m ready to do all those projects I have postponed!

It compliments perfectly with my DeWalt power tools. Dewalt keeps a quality of its own!

Se siente premium, solo que el acabado se maltrata rápido con el uso. Pero fuera de eso es de excelente calidad.

I wanted a smaller set for every day work than my 150 piece set. This fit the bill but I was surprised our large and heavy the case is. It won’t fit in my tool box. The included wrench on the other hand seemed small. Overall i will Keep it because there aren’t many good small sets in good cases out there.
