5 .25" 5.25" Rear Door Spacer Rings Fits 1996-2002 4Runner - SAK039_475-1 Pair

This was the only solution around for my sons 2001 4runner. These are very simple and get the job done. Screw holes lined up nicely. Only negative was the screws provided aren't long enough once they are inserted into bracket so they don't thread into the vehicle, luckily I had a stash that worked. Nice work guys, you solved a problem we didn't know how to fix.

Very happy with my adapters. I installed them flawlessly in my 2001 4Runner. They come with provided screws for the speaker to attach to the adapter and it's easy to over thread, so tighten with caution (I over tightened 1 hole). The adapters look like they're cnc routed so there isn't any jagged sharp edges. I didn't have any clearance issues with the window or magnet on the speakers I installed, I upgraded my speakers toPioneer TS-A1376R A-Series 5.25" 300W 3-Way. Took only about 7-10 mins on each side.

What can I say, for something so simple it makes my day so much easier not trying to modify my facotry speaker mounts for aftermarket speakers.

Perfect fitment. Only complaint is that the material is very soft and I can imagine the screws will strip out the mounting holes over time. It would also be nice if a little notch was cut out for the wires to pass through, just like factory mount.

I really liked the speaker adaptor product. It offered a template to which I could fine tune my installation. I'd really like to see more of these available for all sorts of applications. A blank piece would also do great for those vehicles that you don't offer one for. That way they can be traced and cut to more unique installs. I'm really happy I bought this product and have already introduced my friends to them. Thank you!!
