Yes place it in the collection basket

Will this hold up to rain?

It says that it will and I believe it should, the trap itself you never find water in after a rain storm so I do not foresee water getting in and ruining the lure.

Where is this made in? is it made in usa?

This product is manufactured in Denmark.

how long does one lure last?

Not sure. I just got it and are still testing. Dynatrap says 60 days.
