South Africa Map

I'm planning a trip to South Africa soon and thought it would be interesting to have a paper map of the whole country to help with planning my itinerary. Maybe it's just me but I much prefer having a paper map laid out in front of me instead of endlessly looking at screens. The map is of excellent quality and extremely detailed for the vast span it covers. It is also waterproof and tear-resistant which is a great bonus. It clearly shows the different provinces, towns and cities, detailed road system throughout, all the game and nature reserves including the very smallest ones, the general topography (mountains etc) and even includes sites of special interest such as San rock paintings. I plan on hiring a car and think as a general road map it will also be extremely useful. One thing worth noting however is the map is printed on both sides so you do have to flip it over and see the whole country in 2 parts. Overall I definitely recommend this map for anyone planning a visit to the country, or just for general interest.

El único mapa de carreteras que tenía muy buena pinta pero no resultó tan bueno. Hubiera necesitado el mapa con mucho más detalles porque viajamos en coche, y tuvimos que utilizar el gps más de una vez. Algo que no me hace muchas gracias ya que soy a la vieja usanza, me encantan los mapas

Bin auf Grundlage dieser Karte einiges in Südafrika abgefahren und war mit der Genauigkeit sehr zufrieden. Lediglich der Straßenzustand (Schotter, Asphalt) stimmte nicht immer. Auch ist das Material (Kunststoff??) aus dem die Karte gemacht ist, ist sehr widerstandsfähig. Alles in allem das Beste was ich in Deutschland auftreiben konnte.

È comoda, poco ingombrante e resistente. Sono segnate bene anche le strade sterrate, cosa molto importante in Sudafrica
