Will this butcher paper hold up wrapping a brisket in my smoker without grease soaking through?

Our butcher paper is unwaxed and uncoated, so grease and moisture do pass through on long smokes. Plan to double wrap, set a tray underneath, and support the wrapped meat whenever you move it.

What size is the roll, and is 18 inches wide enough to wrap a full brisket?

Our roll measures 18 inches wide by 100 feet long. For wider cuts, tear a longer sheet and overlap two widths.

Can I use this as charcuterie paper to cover a grazing table of cured meats and cheeses?

Yes, our brown butcher paper is food grade and works well under charcuterie boards and grazing tables. Because it is uncoated, keep pate, dips and oily items in dishes, since moisture soaks through.

Will this brown craft paper roll work for gift wrapping and packing fragile items for a move?

Yes, our brown kraft roll is thick enough that it is not see-through, so it suits gift wrapping, packing padding and table runners. Use packing tape rather than light office tape, which can lift.

Is this paper food safe and free of ink, so I can use it under food or line a bird cage?

Yes, our butcher paper is food grade, unbleached, unwaxed and uncoated, so only virgin pulp touches your food. There is no printed ink, which also makes it a simple bird cage liner.
