Your unique box will have slight color variations from the picture, due to the woods involved, with all of the woods being natural (not stained). Minor imperfections are to be expected with handmade products and add to the uniqueness and personality of each piece. The boxes are decorative and perfect for collectors, and are not toy puzzles. The box can be relatively easily opened by removing the key (a peg), then sliding the lid.
