Do I have to manually change the prescription?

These aldens adjustable glasses are so convenient, all you need to do is adjust the prescription with the dial on the side. You can go from reading a book to watching TV without changing your eyewear.

I have double vision up and down not left and right. Is it possible to adjust for me?

It sure is. But I found them to be plastic lenses of not great quality. So I didn't find the glasses useful. But it certainly is a great design. Maybe they'll be a higher-quality version later.

I wear contacts of R -13.5, L-9.5. My question is, can i still see with that glasses is i'm not wearing my contacts?

I used to wear contacts,,,,,,the Aldens work well for extremely short use,,,,,,,they get dirty within the lenses and cannot be cleaned.
