I bought these to use with watercolors when traveling. They are good brushes and the covers are great for keeping the brush bristles safe when traveling. I kind of wish there was one more smaller brush.

These brushes hold a lot of paint, move water well!. Would be perfect if covers stay on when you paint, make for a longer work brush. But these are my go to brushes for travel!

These brushes were not as sturdy as I would have liked. After gluing all the barrels to the wooden shafts they work much better now. The length and different sizes check all my boxes for my travel toolkit. Will continue to use these for my kit when I have access to water. Look forward to seeing what paintings these brushes help with.

I had high hopes for these, as I travel a lot and like to pack a watercolor kit with me. Unfortunately, some of the brushes were literally falling apart with the pieces loose inside the brush. Obviously they are intended to break apart for storage, but I mean the metal inserts that are supposed to slide into each other weren't even attached to the brush. The result was damage to the bristles at the end where they had rubbed the bottom of the hollow brush end.Also I found the bristles on the smallest brush much longer than expected. I haven't tried to paint with a brush like this before, but I also don't see brushes like this in the art store, so it makes me think this isn't a serious art product, but just a gimmicked made-for-amazon kind of thing. I do a lot of fine detail and this was an important brush for me.It is also one of the ones that doesn't hold together.Overall, I'd keep shopping.

Convenient to store & use. I like the variety of sizes and they seem to suit my needs,

Only used them once so far and I am pleased!

Three of the seven brushes arrived damaged. The metal ends where so loose they fell off before I could even put the cap on. One I had to shake the brush out the holder. The small caps where not glued on or crimped. Bristles also seemed too firm and plastic like even after the brush shaping material was removed.

Just what I was looking for.
