Originally bought the S but it was too small. The S-Plus is excellent, and I couldn't be more pleased. Based on belt loop configuration, this would have to be over the top or back pockets on my jeans. I put it over front pocket and don't even know it is there. Put hands in pocket just fine and don't even notice it with seat belt buckling. For larger folders I have tried would be benchmade Contego and mini Adamas, both are fairly thick knives. Be sure clip is in front and there is no way it could 'fall' out. Seems very well made and will probably last for years but just in case I ordered another one and will keep it on my cargo shorts.

Fantastic quality and comfortable.

All belt carriers seem to be designed for 2" belts. Very few people wear 2" belts. Out of the box this horizontal sheath held my Leatherman Wingman well. The vertical sheath I have was OK, but was a pain in the ash when driving. With this sheath I don't notice it at all in my Outback. BUT, that 2" belt loop meant that the sheath was always sliding around, both up/down and sideways, on my standard 1" leather belt. I got some Gorilla super-glue that says it works on leather and fixed it. I slathered the bottom half of the belt loop on the inside with the glue then inserted a 1" wide steel ruler where the belt would go. I then clamped down the glued half using a couple of other steel rulers to hold it flat and then three spring clamps to hold it firm. I left it overnight and the next day I had a sheath that fit my belt perfectly and didn't slide around. If the Gorilla glue doesn't hold up over time, I'll update this review.

Update..... Been using this everyday for 2 months and it still in great condition, its actually getting better as it breaks in, very happy will uodate again in a few months....I got the small one and it fits my CRKT M16-10KZ knife perfect, it's snug enough the knife dosnt move around or fall out (so far only been wearing it a day) but it's still also easy to take out when I need to use the knife, I haven't noticed it on my belt, and so far it hasn't git snagged on anything, the leather feels like it's good quality, I'll update if anything changes but so far so good.....10 month update and it's even better, breaks in perfectly, looks better either age, holds up to everyday carry in all environments and temperatures, I'll update at a year

This item has good quality leather however the slot that the knife fits through is very tight and not easily removed.

Real leather, work's very well with a 4.5 inch pocket knife. Good value, fits a 2 inch belt. Great purchase.

Pretty solid just a bit baggy and got soft real fast. Needs two hands to re-sheathe a pocket knife because it got real flexible. One hand to hold the leather taught and the other to insert your knife. Not bad if you're not using your knife a ton

Awesome little holder. The only thing is if you got a pretty small knife there’s a good chance it’ll start twisting and fall out. But still good.

As long as your knife has a strong, stiff clip your knife isn’t going anywhere. I’ve tried a few different types and sizes of knives in this sheath and it will accommodate most (a lot) of different sizes with no issues. Soft, smooth leather. No issues with it fitting on different belts either (width, type of material). Very happy with this item. Holds the knife nice and snug and easily removes when needed. I wear mine in the small of my back and have no issues retrieving it. Nice and discreet.

Its exactly what i had been looking for , i purchased a second one and wet molded it (over night) to fit my Leatherman Arc and it now fits like a glove👍. Its as slim and light as your going to get for the purpose and its a nice real leather and tough enough. Your knife should have a pocket clip for peace of mind. If you do wet mold it for your knife be sure to account for your belt thickness, i slid a plastic ruler in the belt slot to simulate my belt and put your knife in a thin plastic bag to protect it and let it all sit overnight.
