Danelectro Danelectro Honeytone Mini-Amp Amplifier - Aqua

Stopped working 3 months in ,still under 1 year warranty but you have to email michelle@danelectro. Its been over a week no reply. Seriously doubt warranty will be honoured.

Attractive design. The options work quite well; does exactly what I wanted, and portability is a big plus. Can't think of any negative issues here, hence the five stars.

Really happy with this mini amp. Have used for interactive public demonstration on sound and water with hydrophones. Good sound quality, super easy to use, compact size. Well built.

Decent little amp, not amazing. I bought it to test audio circuits I was making for a DIY synthesizer-building electronics class, and it was fine for that. I'm also a guitar player, so of course I hooked it up to my guitar, and... well, manage your expectations. It looks better than it sounds, but I suppose it would be handy for sheer portability alone if you need an amp-on-the-go. YMMV. I tested this amp with the AC adapter that was recommended - sold separately - and when hooked up to that particular AC adapter, the amp buzzed intolerably. May have been a fault of the adapter, which I returned (Thanks, Amazon!) But amp doesn't buzz when using batteries. So prepare to invest in rechargeable 9 volt batteries if you plan to use this thing a lot. It does ship with a neat looking Danelectro branded battery, which I thought was kind of cool, but then again, I am easily entertained. Battery life seems decent, but I didn't use this amp the way most people might.

This is the most adorable little amp with wonderful sound quality!
