Comfortable, Effective and Great Value – Finally a Good Night's Sleep Without Constant Noise
I've tried quite a few foam earplugs over the years, and these are easily among the best I've used. I mainly bought them to block out noise while sleeping, but they've also been excellent for studying, travelling and working in noisy environments. The biggest surprise was how comfortable they are. The foam is soft enough that I can wear them throughout the night without waking up with sore ears. They compress easily, insert without much effort and slowly expand to create a secure, comfortable seal.Noise reductionThese don't make the world completely silent, but they reduce noise to a level where it's much easier to relax and sleep. They've worked well for blocking:Traffic noiseNeighboursGeneral household soundsTV noise from other roomsSnoringInstead of hearing every little sound, everything becomes much quieter and less distracting, making it far easier to fall asleep.ComfortComfort is where these really stand out.Unlike some cheaper foam earplugs that expand too aggressively or become uncomfortable after an hour or two, these remain comfortable for long periods. They stay in place well throughout the night and don't constantly work themselves loose.Build qualityThe foam feels dense and high quality rather than cheap or crumbly. Even after compressing them several times, they return to their original shape consistently. The included storage case is also a nice addition for carrying a pair when travelling or commuting.Value for moneyWith 60 pairs included, the value is excellent. One container lasts a long time, making the cost per use extremely low compared to buying smaller packs. What I likedâś” Excellent noise reduction for sleeping and studyingâś” Very soft and comfortable for overnight useâś” Easy to compress and insert correctlyâś” Stay securely in place while sleepingâś” High-quality foam that expands evenlyâś” Handy carry case includedâś” Fantastic value with 60 pairsThings to knowLike all foam earplugs, you need to roll them tightly before inserting them and hold them in place for a few seconds while they expand. Once I started inserting them correctly, the noise reduction improved significantly.Final thoughtsThese have genuinely improved my sleep quality by reducing the background noise that used to wake or distract me. They're comfortable enough to wear all night, effective at lowering everyday noise, and excellent value considering how many pairs you receive.Whether you need them for sleeping, studying, travelling, concerts or simply creating a quieter environment, they perform exactly as advertised. After trying several different brands, these are the ones I'll continue buying, and I'd happily recommend them to anyone looking for comfortable, effective foam earplugs.

Perfect for light sleepers and night shift workers
I bought these foam earplugs to help with sleeping and they’ve turned out to be much better than I expected. They’re very soft and comfortable to wear, even for the whole night, and they don’t put too much pressure in the ears like some other earplugs I’ve tried before. They expand nicely after you put them in, which helps them stay in place and block out a lot of background noise. I live in a fairly noisy area and these do a really good job of reducing sounds like traffic, people talking, or general night-time noise without feeling uncomfortable.Another thing I like is that the foam feels smooth and not too stiff, so you can wear them for long periods without irritation. They’re also easy to roll and insert, and they keep their shape well after use.Overall, really good earplugs for the price. Comfortable, effective at blocking sound, and ideal for sleeping, travelling, or just when you need a bit of peace and quiet. I’d definitely buy them again.

Earplugs that actually work!
I've tried other brands but these Soundbloc plugs are by far, the best I've used thus far. They really do cut out noise pollution from both outside (I live next door to a pub) and also the neighbours, both above me (flat) and to my righthand side, who seem to enjoy arguments and singing Leeds United football chants, after having a skinful! They're not a silver bullet however and you do have to make sure, they are correctly inserted into the ear canal.I'd say, assuming you do correctly insert them, they will reduce all noise by about 90 percent. My only gripe is there's a good chance, you'll get the odd plug, which will not compress and hold its compressed shape. Ergo, it can't be inserted into the ear. That being said, after trying a rival brand, I've re-ordered these again because they really do work!I find they are comfortable too but sometimes do tickle a bit. By Just slightly pulling them out a mm or 2, this seems to ease the tickle.I only use one pair per night. But if they do come loose, during sleep, when I've woke up, to perfom an early morning bodily function, they are perfectly fine, to roll up, and pop back in.To remove them, I just slightly twist them, whilst pulling out.I'll definitely be sticking with these in the long term.

Does what it claims
Excellent quality. Very soft, comfortable and malleable. Can be reused at least a couple of times, if used for a few hours at a time. My son uses this for revision before exams as well when he is playing his drums. He mentions that normal speech within the room is easily blocked, so I would agree with the claim that sounds of uptil 35 dB can be blocked. I like the fluorescent colour.

Not too bad.
These were purchased as sleep-time noise suppression of my partner, who snores like a rhino! The bad:I've used ear plugs like these in the past for industrial applications, and were they look the same as others I've used, aside from the colour, the level of comfort is not great. For me, they definitely created a bit of irritation, quite noticeable on first insertion, though you get used to it after a while, and in the morning after they've been inserted for a number of hours. Not horrible, but not great either, hence the three stars.Insertion takes practice, so don't expect a miraculous fit the first time you use these. Not just these particular items, but any similar foam insert.I found that the rate of expansion was too fast for me though. The trick is to roll them into a thin sausage then insert them into the ear canal. With practice this becomes second nature, but with these particular plugs, you have to insert them very quickly, else they become swollen again before they're properly in place, meaning you have to really work at it. I have quite wide ear canals, so this was a bit of a surprise for me as I don't usually have this issue. That's just me though; you may have more practice at putting these plugs in then I have and your ear canal may be a more suitable shape, but these are my findings. The good:Cheap! Really good value for money, I think. Industrial safety plugs are more expensive by-and-large, so no complaints there. I liked the keyring carry item too. Very god idea.If you can get them into your ears, then they work well. I can't test the veracity of the claimed 38dB SNR (Single Number Rating) but wearing then does significantly reduce the perceived noise levels. The container is good too. Secure and easy to get the top off/on so that the unused plugs don't get grubby.

Good quality and value
Easy to use if you follow the instructions. Do not completely block sounds but reduce the volume and intensity so make snoring easier to cope with. Changed from my usual brand to this when the former started causing skin irritation but have had no trouble so far with this.

Poor in comparison to the 3M E-A-R E-A-Rsoft Yellow Neons Earplugs that I used to purchase
I purchased these in place of the 3M E-A-R E-A-Rsoft Yellow Neons Earplugs that I have purchased for the last 10 years, as the 3M earplugs I was unable to get them on Amazon at the time.I saw these on Amazon and was impressed by their 38 db noise reduction (I'll get to that later in my review) and as they were a bit cheaper than the 3M earplugs, I thought I would give them a try.I will point out that I have done everything as instructed as per the instructions. You are instructed to roll these around to compress it, and then insert into the ear and hold in place for 20 seconds+. These earplugs feel REALLY SLOW to expand in the ear canal, when compared to the 3M earplugs which expand more quickly, and ultimately more, and provide a better seal and noise isolation. The 3M earplugs have a 36 db noise reduction, but despite this, they reduce the noise by a very much more noticeable amount. These earplugs that I am reviewing in my opinion, there is no way that they reduce noise by 38 db, if I had to hazard a guess I would ray around 20-25 db at best, as I get awaked by my partner's snoring and can hear other sounds, all of which does not happen when I am wearing the 3M earplugs. Also, the earplugs I am reviewing regularly give me a sore feeling in my ear, and again, I never got this sore feeling with the 3M earplugs. If I hadn't left it so long I would be returning these poor earplugs, so I will now take the remaining ones to my local charity shop and I will try and purchase the 3M earplugs again, of which I've had great success with.

A Sound Solution for Snoring
I've been using Ear Protection Plugs primarily to combat snoring noises, and I can't emphasise enough how much they've improved my sleep quality. I've purchased these plugs multiple times, and they've become an essential part of my nightly routine. The main reason I rely on these ear protection plugs is their exceptional ability to block out snoring noise. When my partner snores, it can be quite disruptive, making it challenging for me to get a restful night's sleep. These plugs have been a true lifesaver in that regard. They effectively muffle the noise, allowing me to sleep soundly without being disturbed by snoring. The comfort they provide is noteworthy as well. Unlike some other earplugs that can be uncomfortable to wear for extended periods, these ear protection plugs are designed with comfort in mind. They fit snugly in my ears without causing any discomfort or irritation, even during long nights of sleep.I appreciate that they are easy to insert and remove, making them a hassle-free solution for combating snoring. They stay securely in place throughout the night, ensuring that I wake up well-rested and ready to face the day. While I primarily use these earplugs to address snoring, they have also proven useful in other noisy situations, such as traveling or staying in noisy hotels. Their versatility adds to their overall value. In conclusion, Ear Protection Plugs have made a significant difference in my ability to sleep peacefully. I've purchased them multiple times, and they continue to be my go-to solution for this common sleep disturbance. If you're in search of an effective and comfortable way to deal with snoring noise, I highly recommend giving these earplugs a try.
