US Art Supply 4 inch Foam Sponge Wood Handle Paint Brush Set, 10-Pack

These are good large foam brushes that seem pretty sturdy, and will be very useful. My son is currently in an oil painting class where the teacher has instructed them to make their own canvases from particle board, using coats of Gesso. These large brushes are great for preparing these canvases, and they are inexpensive enough that we don't have to try and keep brushes nice for the actual painting. They do wash out, and we'll use them until they start to wear, but it's nice not to have to use more expensive brushes for this purpose.

Good quality, and the size is was looking for. In a regular store, u usually have to but a whole pack with assorted sized to get 1 or 2 of the 4" brushes, like I needed, this way was way easier and will be my go to purchasing method from now on

Good for what they are. Definitely don’t hold up to heavy saturation or excessive use. Handles break off. If not used for something quick and thrown away, I’d just get a cheap brush.

I was using them to oil a vanity. They work well. Once they got too full of oil, the stick came apart from the sponge. It happened several times. I didn’t bother cleaning them after the stick fell off.

Poor quality. Attempted to apply polyurethane to a table top. The brush handle snapped off on the first stroke. I am an experienced woodworker and this product is junk. The connecting piece of plastic is about 1/8" round plastic and is not strong enough for a 4" foam brush.
