Under Ground: Subways and Metros of the World

This book is the first book I have read just on Subways. It gives a good summary of these systems around the world. There is a lot of interesting stations and systems around the world. The detail is fine for a general overview. More focused on ones outside of the US. Would recommend to add this one to your library.

Purchased for a friend and he seems very pleased.

My 9-year-old son loves subways, so this book is right up his alley. He loves looking at the beautiful and interesting pictures, and we enjoy reading it together. I haven’t figured out why the second part of the book (Around the World) seems to be in random order, which bugs me but not my kid. Cool book!

Good for keeping historical poiners for underground subways. easy to read, well presented. Good valus for money.

The content is great, bright and detailed. I can't remember what condition it said the book was in, but it's not in good shape. The entire top of the book has been wet. Every single page has a stain across the entire top. I can deal with it, I'd just like some honest categorizing.

Very good book on a select number of subway and underground systems around the world. Photography was very good. An enjoyable read, especially for some with rail interests.

The book has mostly pictures and has an “artsy” feel but I was expecting maps and more description to support pictures. Not a bad book but not what I was expecting.
