Easy Instructions
This book is a great instructional tool on learning Tunisian crochet stitches. Very easy to use and has additional information about the stitch curl.

Nice pictures of swatched stitches
Nice pictures and description of the stitches. But would have been a great idea to show the insertion of hook in each different stitch rather than showing the same beginning pick up stitch that is the exact same on 50 different stitch patterns. So literally shows 50 pics of the same exact stitch. Weird I thought. But I do like the stitch swatch pics

Very disappointing book.
I wish I would have read all the review before I bought this book. I have the basic simple stitch down because I've been doing that one for years. I wanted to learn more in depth stitches and saw that this was through Annie's which is well known for crochet products so I figured it was instructional on the stitches. It's not. It is colorful but the author didn't take the time to explain each new stitch. Just a basic little "how to" that doesn't tell you anything. I'm very disappointed. Save yourmoney and look for a video on how to do more advance stitches which is what I'll be doing.

Great stitches, not so great instructions
This book has great stitches to look at, but the instructions leave much to be desired, and the illustrations for the individual stitches are all IDENTICAL - they illustrate how to pick up the back bar of the chain when starting the foundation row. After that, there are NO stitch illustrations, however, the pictures of the completed stitch pattern are good.I use this book as a reference to find stitches to use when making Entrelac blankets. To understand HOW to do the stitches, I have found You-Tube to be a good source for videos on how to do the stitches.

Somewhat confusing instructions
Nice variety of pattern stitches. Instructions tend to be confusing. Benefit from use of symbols and graphs to go with written instructions.Did arrive in a timely manner.

So many great stitches
This is not a beginner book on learning Tunisian crocheting. It only shows all the stitches, no projects, blankets, hats, scarves, etc. But, now that I have learned to use the hook and have mastered the Tunisian simple stitch, so I'm ready for some new stitches. All the directions are in knitting abbreviations,so I had to keep looking in back of book for meaning, I.e. TSS -Tunisian simple stitch, TPS - Tunisian pearl stitch, YO -Yarn over, lp-loop, etc. Now that. I understand all that, I can get through most of the harder stitches and it is awesome!

Useful guide to someone who already has ventured into Tunisian
A little disappointed with some of the instructions, particularly the cable pattern that only showed the finished sample without explaining (until the end of the scarf pattern) that the loops are picked up at the end of working while struggled to pick up as I went. A cursory work in progress photo would have certainly assured my confidenceThere is no guidance (as suggested) on the website for Tunisian work...unless I just couldn’t find it amongst the advertising

Disappointing
Very disappointed with this book. It has a great variety of stitches but the explanations are not the best. Each stitch basically starts the same way and this is shown on every stitch variety with a diagram showing hook placement. However, the next steps have no diagram showing the hook placement for that particular stitch. I'm not a beginner by any means but as a visual learner, this little tweak would have made this a top book to have. There is a stitch guide in the back but it is for normal crochet and not Tunisian, this stitch guide has good diagrams to help briefly explain the stitch and hook placement!

The "book" was OK but.....
This is not really a book. It is a glorified magazine. In terms of the content, it is adequate. However, when I order a used book in good condition, I was not expecting a book in quite bad condition. It was in bad condition. That's how it should have been described.

Advanced not beginner book
Needs more instructive drawings/photos. Lots of different types of stitches but only written instructions on how to make them. Photo of finished stitch not completely helpful. Not for a beginner.

One instruction was illustrated and repeated on every pattern, which I felt was overdone, whereas they could have illustrated the more complex stitches better. But despite that instructive and easy enough to follow but not for a beginner
