I use asus microsoft windows 10. when i connect the microscope to the camera the microscope turns offs about every 10 minutes. what am i missing

A good microscope! Theirs is crap.

The speaker for a friend with science class?

This is not a microscope but will work great for seeing detail in smaller things like coins, stamps, flowers, and other minis. This should work good for viewing bugs and rocks but not slides.

Would this be a good microscope for checking trichomes?

After owning this scope I would say yes but not now! I have lost zoom function and after repeated requests to manufacture I have been ignored and finally received a non productive response. Find alternative to view “hairs”
