This is a large good-quality gavel that we use during our meetings to keep order. Stay away from the cheap models because they tend to be small and subject to breaking or coming apart. This gavel will not let you down.

It works but the quality is bad, the metal gold color ring is large for the head so it looks loose always uncentered, has cracks in the wood and scratches and nicks on both ends of the gavel. Looks used and then refurbished poorly to be made to look new. I guess I got what I paid for considering it was shipped from LA. Very disappointed as I got it for someone and now it is embarrassing to give it to him.
