Learning Resources Relational Geometric Solids

This set of basic geometric shapes is a good tool for classroom demonstrations. The yellow transparent plastic is sturdy (about 1 mm thick) and the green bases make it easy to identify the orientation of the shape. My only critique is that the little green plugs on some pieces do not fit tightly, so they may require tape to keep sealed.

These came in dirty and some were broken.

These are good quality. I'd give them five stars, but the little circles in the middle of the flat parts (for filling, and for helping you get the planes off and on) don't like to stay in, and we've lost some already. Aside from that, they are exactly what I was looking for. Not too big, not too small, can be filled for volume, used for comparing 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional shapes.

Help our daughter understand 3D shapes much better. Her next test showed great improvement

The geosoilds look like any other product. However, the little lids that are supposto lock the sand inside to measure the mass or volume do not close well. And in some figures it doesn't close at all. If you only need them to show students the parts of a solid figure (vertex, edge, face, etc...) then fine but not for volume or mass.

1. The covers and center plug do not fit well at all. It is very hard to get the circle plug to stay. It pops out very easily. It gets very frustrating for the children when they are trying to fill the geometric shapes with something heavy like water or beans and it keeps falling out.2. The box arrived with good packaging....but, some of the shapes arrived already chipped or cracking...as if it was a manufacture problem...not something that happened during transit. I dont think the pieces are very sturdy. Its made with cheap plastic.3. The edges on each shape are very sharp. Be careful if you are buying for smaller kids.I would not recommend this product, it is not worth the money. Try finding a different brand. I usually love learning resources stuff...but not this one.
