Price is too high for just a wire.

After reading some positive reviews I was very curious and purchased this. I am extremely disappointed and I can't understand how people rated this to 5 star. Due to high buildings, electric wire and mobile towers in cities the reception of radio are extremely affected. I purchased this external antenna and it didn’t solve the problem. I went to the village and tried there but still it didn’t worked. Because it’s just a wire and nothing else. I had copper wiring cable, I tied the wire on 6th Floor and it’s working fine. No science, no engeenering just a single wire. Buy a 20 metre wire tie them on a high place . You don’t need to pay 1500 for this product.

I installed this on my balcony which has very good ventilation and well protected from rain. The product is good but too expensive for the plastic construction. Strongly built though. Essentially this has well made 3.5mm socket and clip package extended by 23ft slim cable which can be clipped directly to either antennae or inserted into in 3.5mm jack provided in the radio. During scanning it definitely improves the quality of MW and FM, improved weak signals and picked up some 90+ SW stations from Chennai City location. But only two of MW stations are bright. Further no scope for anymore MW stations. To bad 🥴... FM stations are crystal clear and SW stations mostly are fringy and blurry excepting South koria and Chinese channels.. Here overcast weather also plays the villain. Overall the purchase donot disappoint but cannot over expect also. The cable is flimsy and could have been made better ✖️👍 This being a review made in very early time any other defects observed will be posted in my next review after 1 or 2 months👍👍

This antenna is very useful to receive fm signals to interior cabins where there is nil chance of using fm radios. Easy to use and the signals are of good strength and of quality.

This antenna will work with any radio. It has a reel that can be extended or retracted and works amazingly well with Xhdata radios.

Worst product, doesn't work as shown in discription, just a piece of wire,any wire will do what it does, instead of improving sometimes it weaken the signal which was there without this antenna so better to put your radio only where you can receive signal, other wise look for better radio than this one which is xhdata d109 very poor reception of FM even in New Delhi.

i never expected such a difference through this type of antenna. This is useful no doubt.
