Is the button to change modes on the cigarette lighter end or in-between the wire and plug end?

To change modes you need to cycle the power on and off within a couple second. this will cycle it through .

How do you change the modes for the ones with the pipe socket

Our pipe warning light is universal, simply plug it into the vehicle's pole and press the vehicle's corresponding switch to change the rotating strobe or flashing modes.

Using this to translate wind speed into flashes of light for wildland firefighters. Is there any way to open the device and bypass the modes?
