Men's Sport Casual 3-Hand Eco-Drive Watch, Date, Patterned Dial

I am a green-lover, and I think this watch looks elegant. Wear it to work and also for casual uses. I received a lot of compliments about this watch. Matches well with my green attire, and it gives a bright vibrant look in the daylight. Eco-friendly so no need for battery! Only thing I can critique about this watch though is when you are finishing a month that has 30 days, you'll have to fiddle with the clock like a full 24 until it hits the day you want to set it to, like the 1st of the month. Can't just switch the date straight up. Not a big issue for me though. Also, it's very hard to see in the dark especially in the car- so no it does not glow in the dark. But many great watches are like that. I rate this 5 stars.

I love this watch! I got it because of the way it looked. I love green and this watch just stood out to me... I wear it everyday and I just cant stop looking at it. One thing that is "different" is the big silver lines are on all of the ODD numbers and not at the 12,3,6,9 positions. I am older so I am used to having the big lines at the traditional positions so its a bit confusing when you are not used to it. I do not like how the hands do not glow in the dark. If the lighting is bad you cannot see what time it is. I have only had the watch for about a week so I cant say how it will hold up to time but first impressions I LOVE this watch.

Oh, how I wish I could give this watch 5 stars. It's simply beautiful, stylish, very high quality, keeps perfect time, never needs a battery, and has the appealing green highlights (even at the tip of the second hand). Citizen is an excellent brand and make watches that will provide many years of reliable service. Now the reason for my docking a star: the band. The underside is stamped "Genuine Leather" and there's no reason to doubt this. But the issue is that there's a very thin black coating affixed on top that seems to be made out of a vinyl/plastic material. There would be nothing wrong with this if it was stuck on well, but after just one month of use it has started to literally peel off in the section towards the middle that is unavoidably bent whenever I take the watch off. And not only have I not even worn it every day, but I put it on and take it off just once on the days when I've worn it, so hardly excessive wear & tear. Of course, one option would be to just replace the band, but it has the 4 green stitches that add to the watch's overall aesthetic appeal. And really, one shouldn't have to do that with a practically brand new watch anyway, much less one made by Citizen. I still love this watch though, and still recommend it despite the faulty band. I haven't read any other reviews saying they had the same band issue, so maybe this is really just a hiccup with my particular watch for whatever reason.

UPDATE 2 : After charging under a powerful full-spectrum lamp the watch began to function correctly again. For a while. Now it is again skipping, and the delay has expanded considerably between Jumps. This watch is heading for the trash after I post this UPDATE : After six months the watch is skipping every other second. This happened suddenly and without any kind of bumping, dropping : the kinds of things one expects to cause problems The second hand never was accurately aligned with the second markers ! (A pet peeve of mine) Forcing the crown to turn is an exasperating experience. This can be a very frustrating affair should you need to set the date upon your watch's arrival TL;DR : IF this watch is a gift, considering getting a pair of finger cots and setting the watch's time and date before presenting it. No one likes receiving a gift that - for example - requires batteries which are "not included", or is otherwise a supreme hassle, or disappointment, upon opening

I had zero clue about watches before this purchase and after doing some research within my budget I found the Citizen Eco-Drive a very tempting brand/concept to buy. Extremely happy upon receiving this watch and have enjoyed it 100% ever since. It feels like and looks like a quality piece and I am very proud of it. I just can't understand why everyone who sees it hasn't fallen over in amazement..... We shall wait patiently for my first compliment.

Purchased this product "used." Description indicated possible marks on the face and band; purchased this watch to replace a similar one that I lost earlier so the condition would match the one I lost - no big deal. I was very impressed with the quality of the product when I received it. This is my 5 Eco Drive watch and the quality is consistent. The band looked like someone had tried it on but overall it was in good shape! I would buy it again.

Love the watch, classic look, really like the green accents. Keeps perfect time so far.

I have the docs and emails to show that Citizen Watch Canada sold me a lemon product, has a wholly unsatisfactory warranty, and further an incompetent service and customer relations. I was told by their Markham Ontario office there is no refund and only repair? To make this short I returned it three times as they failed to ever repair it. The third time they said they had no parts and offered me a discount on a new watch?? No refund, or offer of a new replacement?? I was blackmailed into sending them what they called the difference on the MRSP on another model closest in price...even though it was marked down on their website? No apology for their failings, or hours of wasting my time. Run... don't walk away from Citizen Watch Canada. There are plenty of respectable watch makers out there with real warranties who stand behind their products. Never again Citizen!

After 8 months, eco drive shut down. The battery is not charging with light anymore. Sorry
