Daniel's Duck (I Can Read Level 3)

Cute book but a bit dated for today's kids.

I’m sure the story is great, purchased for my husband who had fond memories of reading as a child. Low stare because it says I would get a hardcover book but is paperback.

This is such a good book with a wonderful story line. My 1st grader started reading it and didn't want to put it down. Any book that keeps his attention like that gets 5 stars!

I remember reading this in 1st grade, and now I read it to my kids. What a classic story. And it got my son into carving.

Great story, I miss books like these

This is a good book for gifted and talented kids. It make connections to a character that trys a new skill and the feeling he has of self-judgement and the opinions of others.

Book in excellent condition, as promised. Very happy.

Bonito e sensível. Remete a um passado distante quando as famílias eram unidas e as crianças faziam seus próprios brinquedos. Nada de smartphones ou videogames aqui. O pai deu um canivete e um bloco de madeira que Daniel passou o inverno esculpindo em um pato para a feira anual da cidade. O livro inspirou meu filho de 4 anos também. Muito novo para um canivete, dei a ele uma espátula e uma vela de 7 dias. Ele passou dias cavucando com afinco e agora temos um "pato" na sala.

Granddaughter enjoyed reading it.
