Best pellet on the market, a true flock favorite!
Psittacus is made to very stringent EU standards, and is all non-GMO. Of all the available natural colored pellets (because I won't feed artificially colored pellets) available in the US, Psittacus as a brand has the most Vitamin A and beta carotene of any pellet brand; most parrots in captivity are Vitamin A deficient, and beta carotene is converted to Vitamin A in the bird's body...Omega and the High Energy Breeding are absolute tops in the beta carotene content (and you cannot overdose your bird on beta carotene, but you can on pure Vitamin A). This is done primarily through the addition of red palm oil, which is eaten in the wild by African and New World parrot species, and provides rich nutrition and quality fats along with all the other good things in it. This pellet is highly palatable and is the primary pellet for my large flock. Birds happily eat it, even my small pionus, all the way to my large birds. It has a nice crunchy texture, so don't think it is too large for smaller birds (175+ grams). I have offered it to birds I have in quarantine, or are simply boarding, and they readily eat it too. It smells a bit earthy, not sweet or fruity at all....kind of an autumn pumpkin kind of smell to me. Yes, there is soy in it. There is also soy in every single other pellet out on the market too (Harrison's, Kaytee, Pretty Bird, Mazuri, Roudybush, Zupreem, HIggins, Lafeber, and Hari - except the Alternative which zero of my birds would eat...and Top's). At least with Psittacus it is non-GMO. If you aren't familiar with the EU food laws, you should check them out. Far more stringent that in the US, and even more than Canada's. All the food is made in Spain, where Psittacus has been leading nutrition in Europe too (and I compared European pellet composition too!), and shipped to the US. All the bags are super thick and durable mylar-type bags, so your bird's food is fresh when it arrives to you. I have a large number of adult rescue birds who have arrived in poor health, weight, and with bad nutrition on top of it all. They are all in lovely feather, with healthy skin/beaks/nails, and Psittacus is a definite factor in their improved health; the best pellet on the market still has to be eaten for it to help, and that is not a problem with Omega! It's good for thin birds (to include AGN+ ones; in fact my AGN+ bird is in perfect weight and she adores Omega), birds lacking Vitamin A, young and old birds, and definitely African and South American species. My avian veterinarians love Psittacus, and especially Omega for all the situations I mentioned above. I trust my beloved flock to Psittacus, and I have seen the results over the past year I have been feeding it. My birds like it, they look great, their lab work is great, and they don't waste it.

Pellets vs Chop
I'm grateful for a product that can ensure that our beloved Eclectus will get the proper nutrition and at the same time eliminates the need to spend hours and hours creating chop that usually ends up on the floor anyway. lol

Made my bird throw up.
Unfortunately, these pellets made my 21 year old Senegal throw up the first time he ate them. I’ve never seen him react this way to pellets. I use to add Oven Baked Pellets to his mix but they aren’t making them so I thought I’d try these. I had to remove them from his cage. I’m not happy that my bird got sick and I wasted $20 because I can’t return them.

The only pettelts I feed my macaws.
My birds love it. No waste, great ingredients, combine with a little chop each deal for a balanced diet.
