How do I know what size I should buy?

Small=under 5 feet tall/ Medium= 5-6 feet /Large= over 6 feet tall. Click the size button Small, Medium, Large buttons under the Aero product description and you'll find the answer there: https://www.amazon.com/SISU-Guards-Custom-Sports-Mouthguard/dp/B084ZSZ4DF/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=sisu%2Bmouthguards&qid=1594814966&sr=8-1&th=1

Is this is a good mouth guard for ice hockey?

The SISU Aero mouth guard was designed for general sports whereas the SISU Max mouth guard was designed for high-impact sports. I would recommend the Max guard for ice hockey as the likelihood of impact is higher.

Will this work for trombone players with braces ?

Thanks for asking. Yes! We have heard positive feedback from musicians who have used SISU Mouthguards to protect their lips.

is this made of silicone ?

Not sure of the exact material but it is not soft and flexible. I would say it is made of a medium to hard plastic. It is comfortable and not large and cumbersome like traditional mouthpieces.
